A tall boy with brown, curly hair waits for his date at the movies with a bouquet of roses and money he saved from various jobs he did in the gardens of his neighborhood. He looks anxiously on both sides of the streets, only to find his date; a thin girl, cute curves, dark brown hair, and a nice smile, leaving the place with the cheerleaders' captain.

The smile on his face disappeared and his grip on the roses slowly loosens until they fall to the ground, he zips his hoodie as he slowly walks away, and just then his date looks in his direction, but only to see an empty place with roses thrown away. On the floor.

As the curly boy walks down an empty street in a suburban neighborhood, it starts raining, he stops dry and looks up at the sky, little tears fall down his face.

He wanders the streets for a while, aimlessly, and no matter how much rain can ruin his hair. Although he unconsciously heads home on a different path than he took when he left. It was pretty late already. His mother probably didn't quite care if he spent a couple of overtime outside the house, as he almost never left. He barely had any friends.

Meanwhile. A thin, brown boy wearing a huge black sweater noticed the curly, almost completely soaked boy.

"Ray?" He yelled at him from the second floor of the apartment where he lived next to his older brother.

The tallest stopped, looking for the voice of the one who was speaking to him. Looking everywhere until he saw the lens boy greeting him enthusiastically from the window.

"Mikey?" He smiled mildly, he was the younger brother of one of his best friends. He hasn't seen him in a while. "Do you live here? I thought you were still staying at your parents' house."

He laughed sympathetic as he blushed a little, leaned on the wooden frame of the window, and spoke shyly. "I moved in with Gerard a month ago. I didn't want to be far from him or you all."

Ray smiled wider, he really liked the lens guy and his company was very nice. And they all had a weakness for the Way brothers. Frank, the youngest of his friends, had been liking Mikey's handsome big brother for a very long time.

"That's great! We can go out together more often."

Mikey blushed violently, sketching a silly smile "Y-yes... It's raining harder, do- do you want to come in?" Laughing very nervously, he deployed the metal ladder attached to the wall so Ray could enter.

"Thank you! Do you have a phone? I have to tell my mother I'm staying. She'll be mad at me if I don't do it" He laughed in a rather adorable way that only made Mikey sigh foolishly.

"Of course we do, go down the hall to the kitchen." He covered his face a little with the collar of his sweater and made a gesture indicating the direction to go.

"All right, I'll be back in a moment."

He let out a long sigh as soon as the curly boy came out of the room. He threw himself to bed and allowed himself to drown a cry on the pillow. He had the boy he liked at home. In his room. Moving in with Gerard wasn't in vain after all.

He decided he would have to be a little more presentable for his visit. So he changed the shorts he was wearing (which were barely noticed by the sweater) and took one of his Batman pajama pants.

He also looked for some clothes for Ray, as the ones he was wearing were wet and he could catch a cold if he didn't change. He pulled out a thick duvet and put it on the floor next to his bed, and a couple of sheets to cover up, as it was getting colder due to the rain.

When Ray returned, he found him reading one of the thousands of comics Mikey kept in his room. Before turning out to Mikey, he bewitched a slight glance around. Walls with dark blue wallpaper, thousands of posters, and many shelves with books, comics, and some action figures. A desk that is full of books and lots of papers. His bed at the back of the room, not so far from the door and a bedside table next to it. A couple of wires could be seen near the ceiling, but the poor lighting did not let it clearly show that they were.
