She was asked to speak at the church. She didn't know exactly what she'd say, but she knew what she had gone through the past year had been God's way of telling her what He wanted her to do. That Sunday, before everyone in the church, she started to speak.
"I know that I'm not the best speaker. What I do know, is that God has taken me on a journey. To who I am supposed to be. I was in a dark place. I lost my motivation, my Bible sat on my desk for months, unopened. But Danny, and Mom, and Dad brought me back. To who I was before the accident, not physically, but emotionally. I had lost my happiness, and I thought God was punishing me for some reason. But Mom brought it to my attention that God knew what He was doing. Whatever you are, or have gone through, God uses that. He uses it for the good! I heard something recently about how the prettiest flowers grow in the darkness. Whatever you're going through, God's got you."
She gave many, many speeches like that afterword. She became a motivational speaker, holding many seminars and conferences.
God's always got a plan for your life. Trust Him to do what's best for you. Let Him take control of your life.
