KNOCK KNOCK!

Marinette dried her eyes and opened the trapdoor to her room. Chloe came flying in with a big bag with Kagami following with smaller bags.

"Girl, makeover time!" Chloe started spreading out the items in her bag. Marinette slightly smiled and leaned down to help, glad her friends were here to help.

A week ago, Marinette had finally confessed to Adrien but he said that he loved someone else. She was heartbroken, but getting over it. She could see now that her feelings for him were unhealthy, bordering on obsession. After a week, she was better. Her pictures were down and in the recycling. The photos on her phone were deleted. The only photos she kept were the ones of the old friend group; her, Adrien, Alya, and Nino. Even those were in a box of memories along with the lucky charm Adrien had given her.

Marinette looked at the wall that used to be full of pictures of Adrien that were now full of photos of her, Chloe, Kagami. Here and there were clothing inspirations. She smiled and turned to her friends, pulling out her hair ties. Her hair tumbled down around her shoulders.

"Well, what are we waiting for, let's get started!"

"Please, M'lady, I promise I won't let the cat out of the bag!"

Ladybug sighed, "For the last time, Chat, no. I am not revealing my identity. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a blind date to go to as a civilian." She turned to leave, but Chat Noir grabbed her hand.

"You're going on a blind date?" Ladybug softened.

"Chat, you'll always be my partner and best friend, but nothing more. I'm sorry. Now I really do need to go or else I'll be late." She gave him a hug and then yo-yoed off.

Marinette straightened her skirt, checked the address and walked into the cafe by the Seine. She walked in and immediately spotted her date. She had been to look for the poppy. She saw a young man with dark hair, green eyes, and twirling a poppy flower in his hand. He looked quite bored. Marinette approached the table and sat down, His eyes met yours and something in his expression changed.

"Hi, I'm Marinette." He shook her extended hand and responded in kind.

"Hello, I'm Damian."

*POV switch*

Adrien flopped on his bed, his lady had turned him down again and she was going on a date as a civilian. Maybe he could give Marinette a chance, he'll tell her at the gala. Yes, he may not get his lady; but he will get his princess.

"So," Damian rubbed the back of his neck. He had never expected this blind date to go this well. "Want to go on a second date?"

Marinette smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "I'd love to. You have my phone number, so text me. Bye!" She waved and then turned to leave.

The whole class had been invited to the Wayne Gala that was being held at the Bourgeois Hotel. Marinette had designed her and Chloe's dresses. In Chloe's room, Marinette and Chloe finished getting ready. Once they were, the two girls started towards the ballroom. Marinette took a deep breath, knowing that the insults and lies would be flung and her from her classmates. Marinette stepped out and started descending the staircase with Chloe. Gasps were heard around the room from everyone except their classmates at the sight of the beautiful girls and their dresses that made them even more beautiful.

Once Marinette and Chloe reached the bottom of the stairs, Marinette was swept into a double hug by Clara Nightingale and Jagged Stone.

"Ah, my favorite niece! How are things going?" Jagged said as he stepped back.

"Yes, how are things? And may I say that your dresses look lovely, ladies." Clara added, also stepping back.

"Thank you, I've been doing fine."

"Marinette? You didn't tell me you were coming?"

Marinette turned and saw Damian striding towards them.

"Well you never asked." Marinette shot back, grinning. "And anyway, you're one to talk. You didn't tell me that you were going to come either!" Damian just smirked.

"May I have this dance, Mlle. Marinette?" He held out a hand and Marinette took it, giggling.

"Why of course, Monsieur Damian."

He spun her onto the dance floor as the French class stared in disbelief.

"That's Damian Wayne! Why is he dancing with Marinette? I thought he was dating you?" Ayla looked at Lila. Lila paled, this night was not going as planned. She was supposed to seduce Damian Wayne.

"He just doesn't want to be open about our relationship yet no matter how many times I try to convince him otherwise. She's probably his charity case, even though he knows that she's mean to me."

"Well, I'm going to go and talk to him. No one is allowed to treat my BFF like that." Before Lila could stop her, Alya marched over to Damian who was at the drinks table. Damian was getting drinks for Marinette who was talking to Jagged Stone. "Why are you dancing with Marinette instead of Lila, your girlfriend?"

Damian glanced at Alya and then turned his attention back to getting some drinks. "I don't know a Lila; but whoever she is, she's lying and I could sue her for purposeful slander of character." He then got his drinks and walked towards Marinette. Alya rushed to follow and then spotted Jagged Stone.

Excuse me, Mr. Jagged Stone, but aren't you friends with Lila Rossi after she saved your kitten from being run over by a plane? She even got tinnitus from it!"

Jagged Stone looked over at her in confusion as Damian and Marinette walked away. "I don't know a Lila Rossi and the only cat I would want near me is Paris' hero, Chat Noir." With that said, he walked off leaving a confused Alya.

Damian and Marinette stepped out onto the balcony to talk.

"How long are you going to stay in Paris?" Marinette asked as she leaned against the railing, looking out across the Paris skyline.

"I don't think we're staying for much longer. Why d o you want to know?" Damian smirked as the blue-haired Parisian blushed. "It's just that I've really enjoyed hanging out with you." She paused for a moment. "Why'd you choose to go on a blind date in Paris?"

Damian also looked out at the city of Paris. "My brothers thought that since I've always turned down dates in general in Gotham, it might be different in the city of love. And, I have also enjoyed our time together." Marinette turned to look at Damian as he took her hand in his. "I know we've only had one date, unless you count the gala, but will you be willing to court, or um, be my girlfriend?"

"Yes, I'd love that." She smiled, a blush dusting her cheeks. Damian took that moment to capture her lips with his own. Her arms found their way around his neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist. The Eiffel Tower in the distance made the perfect background for both teen's first kiss, not that they'd be likely to tell the other. Suddenly, a flash went off. Damian pulled out of the kiss.

"Todd, Drake, I know that's you. You'll regret it later." Then he pulled Marinette back into the kiss.
