Just a Friend

A/N: I do not own the song, characters. I just own the storyline and Alice.

Marinette, Nino, Luka, Kagami, Chloe, and Adrien were the only ones who did not believe Lila. These six teens had gone to Gotham City for the Wayne Gala with Gabriel Agrest because Gabriel had agreed to let his son's friends come and Bruce Wayne had allowed the teens about two years ago. They had come back from the gala closer than ever. Marinette was more confident around Adrien and the class thought that they must be dating in secret for Marinette to be so normal around Adrien.

The class had won an all-expenses paid class trip to Gotham City because of a random drawing. Lila was spitting out her usual lies. "My Damiboo just missed me so much so he just begged his father to choose our class and you know that Bruce Wayne just can't say no to his children."

The class had gathered around Lila asking questions about the Waynes while the Miraculous Team were trying not to laugh because they could answer all those questions and more. The rest of the class had no idea that the four friends, including Kagami and Luka, had traveled to stay with the Waynes for almost every break. Along with that, Marinette was dating Damian Wayne, Chloe was with Jonathon Kent, Barbra Gordan and Nino (Barbra's age is switched to like 15 or 16), and Adrien was dating a sweet girl named Alice (OC) that he had met in a blind date who was also a friend of the Waynes. They all knew of each other's alter egos.

"OK class," Mdme. Bustier said. "I will hand you the packing lists as you leave."

*Time skip*

Marinette and her friends got first class tickets because Chloe's dad paid for them even though the Waynes had offered to pay. Chloe had insisted on paying as her treat, but had allowed the Waynes to pay for first-class tickets on the trip back as a compromise.

"Marinette stole my ticket!" Lila cried.

"No, I did not steal your ticket Lila." Marinette sighed. "This ticket has my name on it." She brandished her ticket with her name on it and then followed her friends onto the plane.

*Time skip*

Once they got to Wayne Hotel, the class saw that there would be a karaoke that night.

"Ohhh," squealed Rose. "we should do that!"

"I've sung backup with Jagged Stone and Clara Nightingale," Lila started.

"Wait for it," Marinette whispered to her friends.

"But I'm getting over a sore throat so I can't sing right now." Lila finished.

"And there it is." Marinette said as she and her friends chuckled.

"Of course she would!" Nino said a little too loudly.

"Who would?" Lila said with a sickly sweet smile, hoping to get them to admit to "bullying" her.

Nino looked panicked, but Marinette didn't even miss a beat. "Oh, Nino was just saying how of course I would sing karaoke tonight." Marinette smiled.

"Well, I'm looking forward to it." She smirked and whispered to Alya. "Make sure that you film her singing. It's going to sound horrid."

"Of course," Alya said as she smiled evilly. "I'll live-stream it so that we can give her a taste of her own medicine."

Meanwhile, Chloe looked at Nino and they both busted out laughing. They had heard everything Lila and Alya had said. Boy were those two in for a surprise.

*Time skip*

"How about you go first, Marinette?" Lila said sweetly. "I have a song all ready for you." Lila didn't know the song, but the name sounded promising. Marinette looked at the song, smiled, and then walked to the stage. Lila said to the class around. "She's going to suck." She had no idea that the Wayne kids were behind her, they had come early to greet their favorite French kids early. Before any of them could say anything, Damian pointed at Marinette on the stage. As the music started, Damian smirked and disappeared.
