The scene opens up to a large range of seven tremendous snowy mountains. This was the mountain range known as the Cursed Summit, where the stronghold, Black Winter Castle stood in the very center of the whole mountain range, with the seven mountains surrounding the giant fortress.

It was the stronghold that previously belonged to Unseen Nightmare, but the fortress was attacked and five weeks ago, all the dark mages were either dead or taken prisoner. The attackers was a large group of wizards from a few different Guilds as well as a battalion of nine hundred soldiers from an organization called the Peace Keepers. One of the primary leaders of this attacking force was Solus Donovan.

Vanessa Avral and Vilarri IronMoon were two Vampire women who had were great friends before most of their species was killed, about eight hundred years ago and were eventually forgotten. These girls were two of the few Vampires who went into hiding, and managed to survive. The Avral clan and the IronMoon clan got along quite well, and together they governed the northern territories back when humans and vampires lived alongside each other.

Black Winter Castle was actually one of the strongholds that belonged to the IronMoon clan, who's territories were in the NorthWest of Fiore. The two vampires spent a lot of time chatting after meeting each other again after a very long time.

The stronghold was now occupied by a soldiers from different places, that had were now the beginning of a new force. There were five hundred fighters from the Peace Keepers, four hundred men who used to be guardsman to the city Dryhold, three hundred twenty soldiers who used to be part of Fiore's Army, as well as two hundred and sixty former slaves that were now free after the attack.

In total they had one thousand, four hundred, eighty soldiers at this colossal fortress. Vilarri had used the Stone of Winters, the crystal in one of the caverns beneath the northern castle to alter the weather around the Cursed Summit. The winds near the outside of the mountain range were still quite fast, cold, and powerful, while the winds around the stronghold were at a reasonable level.

Commander Cyran, Commander Arune, Nebula Valor, and Lawrence Bronze from the Peace Keepers had also stayed behind at the stronghold, they helped oversee the defense of the fortress, as well as training all the soldiers of this new force.

Vanessa: "Things seem to be shaping up pretty well." she said, standing on the top of the northern castle while looking down at the large stronghold. There were many people outside the southern castle, which was where all the training happened.

Vilarri: "Indeed. It's only been five weeks, and they're becoming adept fighters." she said in agreement, standing beside the other vampire.

Vanessa: "Yep. And I've done some good research as well." she said. Vanessa had stayed at the stronghold, to talk and catch up with her old friend, but also to look through the books, notes, and any other information that could be useful. She mostly looked for locations, names, members, powers, and potential plans the Axis might have. Vilarri had helped her as well.

Vilarri: "I'm glad I could help you with it. I'm still surprised by the successful attack five weeks ago. My sister and I hated working for The Axis, but didn't have much of a choice. Then you guys bring a big group of wizards and soldiers that successfully defeat Trixtor and all the enemies here." she said, still quite amazed.

Vanessa: "Heh. Solus was the main one who was able to form that attack. He's held a great hatred towards the Axis. The Peace Keepers and other Wizard Guilds agreed to the mission, understanding the danger the Axis posed." she replied. "Although, it might be a while until the next operation. I've discovered a few base locations all over Fiore, but first we'll probably need to speak with Solus, the Guild Masters, and the leaders of the Peace Keepers." she added.
