The scene reopens to the mostly destroyed control room of Tartaros, where Solus, Erza, and Kyoka stood defensively around Minerva, Mirajane, Seilah, and the four Exceeds while facing the strange, seemingly undead soldiers that suddenly appeared and surrounded the group not too long ago.

Solus and Erza were fighting against Kyoka in order to stop Face, but that was until a sudden boulder came down and would have crushed them all if Solus didn't summon a Mythical Barrier around everyone that protected them from the giant rock. It was right after that when the mysterious warriors arrived while the cloud of dust from the boulder cleared away.

Once all the dust was gone, they counted somewhere between two hundred and three hundred more of these strange soldiers. The appalling amount of the warriors and the disturbing power they sensed that seemed to be controlling these undead fighters, had Kyoka and the two Wizards hesitantly agree to temporary truce to deal with these new enemies.

Solus, Erza, and Kyoka were the only ones who could still fight. Happy, Lily, Frosch, and Lector didn't have a lot of energy so they had the four Exceeds bring Mira, Minerva, and Seilah to a spot where the three active fighters stood around them protectively.

Kyoka returned their sensitivities to pain back to normal, and used her Curse Power enhance their physical strengths slightly. She couldn't stop Face's countdown entirely, but she was able to at least slow it down dramatically.

Erza: "Solus, you mentioned you've encountered other groups of these things while searching through the area. Any advice on how we should fight them?" she asked. She was currently equipped in her Purgatory Armor, clutching onto the big, spiked club that came with the black, spiked set.

Solus: "Well, I've ran into them about three or four times, and those groups didn't have as many as this one. The largest group I fought had around sixty of them. From the encounters I had, these things are very rapid but mindless, during each of my encounters they just charged at me with seemingly no strategic ideas at all. But the most particular strong suit they have is their numbers." he explained, recalling the encounters he's had with these weird fighters. His longsword Helmer was in his right hand, while he had his Mythical aura around his left. His hardened Mythril armor still had a rather unsettling amount of damage from Kyoka's assault earlier, but was still quite functional.

Kyoka: "Assuming these really are undead warriors, I'm afraid my Curse Power won't be very effective against them. The most I can do is enhance our own strength and powers, while using physical attacks to eliminate them." she mentioned, extending each of her sharp talons, still in her Etherious Form. While she wasn't exactly fond about fighting beside these human mages, she couldn't think of any better solutions to deal with the rather large, undead company.

Solus: "Sounds good. We'll just have to focus on minimizing their numbers until they're all defeated, while keeping them from harming our comrades who can't fight behind us." he told them. That's when some of the soldiers started approaching the group, ready to fight.

Erza: "Looks like this battle has begun." she stated, bashing two of the warriors with her club once the got close enough.

Solus: "Mythical Flames!" he shouted, releasing a spell upon some of the enemies, which enveloped nine of them in hot, purple flames.

Kyoka didn't say anything, but simply hacked through a bunch of the undead soldiers with her extended claws as the battle began.

The group consisting of Elfman, Lisanna, Warren, Droy, and Jet were still locked in battle against the horde of giggling Lamy clones. The two Strauss siblings stood back to back, with Elfman throwing them into other and Lisanna scratching through the clones, still in her Cat Form.
