the hallways filled with chatter as you anxiously looked at your watch, regretting the words that came out of your mouth from the interview the previous day.

you had accidentaly blurted out the wrong time schedule that you would start working in and now you had to skip the last class to be able to make it on time to work.

you sighed, taking your bag, trying not to look shady as you stealthily slipped away from the classroom, immediately running towards the exit of the school all the while making sure no one was watching you.

opening the doors, you were met with an empty pool hall.

"uh,,,hello?" you called out, confused as to why no one was here.

"are you the new part-timer?" a feminine voice suddenly called out, scaring the living daylights out of you.

"y-yeah." you answered, walking towards her as you set down your bag on the floor by the backroom door.

you were enthralled by her beauty, but you thought that she just really needed a change of style,,, maybe replacing those pink shorts would be a great choice. [ im sorry but i stand by this statement. the polo did not go with the shorts she wore at all and it just looked...crusty 😬 ]

"i hope i'm not too late." you voiced out your thoughts, stretching your back a bit from the exhausting slouching you would always do in class.

she shook her head as a response, "no, not at all. the ownder is out right now, so i'll just teach you what to do for now." she smiled, however she seemed uneasy and hesitant to say her words.

this made you confused, what's up?

"you seem uneasy, is something wrong?" you tilted your head to the side.

"i-it's nothing! it's just that, you have alot of bandages and band aids on. i was just curious as to what happened to you " she explained.

you were silent for a while before finally remembering the events that unfolded the previous day.

"oh, i just tripped and fell."

she awkwardly nodded, " i see, it must have been a bad fall "

you nodded, clearing your throat before opening your mouth to speak, "so, what do i do?"

she gestured towards the coffee maker, "that's where the coffee maker is and the cups are in the cupboard next to the table there."

you nodded at her words, "okay,,,"

she nodded, taking a hair tie and giving it to you, " you should tie your hair up, it might get in the drinks "

you nodded, taking the tie, gathering your hair up to a ponytail and securing it with the hair tie.

you wondered why she didn't tie hers, but you decided not to mention it.

your co-worker was mentally squealing.

the reason why she let you tie your hair was because the moment you walked in the door, she had a vision of you wearing a ponytail look and she thought you looked cute.

"it's empty? fuck!"

"damn!"

two familiar voices called out, making the both of you flinch in surprise.
