you sighed as you laid your chin on the palm of your hand, your eyelids getting heavier and heavier by the second.
the teacher in front continued to ramble on and on about the lesson as you tried to wrap your head around how he explained things but you just couldn't.
each word went through one ear and exited straight through the other.
so, you did what you did best.
sleep.

'' hey, what do you think of going around the world someday? " her voice echoed through out the empty classroom.
the room was illuminated with a glowy shade of yellow, creating a warm feeling.
the sun was ready to set, the moon ready to rise as cotton candy clouds spread across the sky.
you turned your head to her, "it sounds tiring, i'd prefer to just stay at home and relax. no socializing, no worrying about anything."
your answer made her huff, crossing her arms as she sat on a table.
"but all those—quote on quote—tiring and bothersome things will be worth it! the excitement of seeing new things and getting to explore foreign places is a whole other type of happiness!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands out in the hair.
she had always been a bright and positive person, wanting to see the world and all it's secrets and mysteries.
you sighed and leaned back on your chair, crossing your arms, "okay, what if something goes wrong and we get lost, or maybe someone harasses us?" you questioned, raising an eyebrow at your friend.
she rolled her eyes in response, giving you a glare, "oh stop being so negative! it won't happen! plus, if someone does harass us, i have you and you have me to fight them!" she laughed and threw a few punches in the air.
"...hm. sure, my mother has always wanted to go to greenland so maybe we could take her." you responded, watching the orange clouds hover around the sky, a navy blue color slowly fading into the orange color as the sun slowly went down.

the sleeping (h/c) haired student was oblivious of the students approaching her table, too deep into her dreams (or rather her memory) to notice.
