the sun was high in the sky with birds singing their morning melodies.
sunlight penetrated through the curtains and landing on the sleeping ( y/n ), who soon blinked awake.
with a groan, she rose from the bed and stretched, a yawn escaping her lips.
"you're finally awake" akari stood in the doorway, her arms crossed.
"..yeah. what time is it?" ( y/n ) had her eyes squinted, a burning in her eyeballs as she rubbed the corner of her eyes.
"it's 9:30. you've been sleeping like a log ya know? it took five tries to finally get you to wake up." the black haired female laughed, teasing the groggy girl by fake snoring.
"shut upp..i had a long day yesterday" ( y/n ) huffed, shuffling the blankets off of her and got off the bed, dragging herself towards akari.
"grandma made souffles. hope it's to your liking" akari stated, walking ahead to the dining area where ha-neul and the elderly woman were already having breakfast.
ha-neul hollered at ( y/n )'s bed hair while akari's grandma chuckled softly.
( y/n ) rolled her eyes, taking a seat and placed the thiccccc pancakes on her plate before putting ( toppings of choice. ).
she cut a piece of the pancake off and bit on the piece, the flavors bursting into her mouth. a small smile made it's way to her lips as she took another piece, placing it into her mouth once she swallowed the previous piece.
"it seems like you love my pancakes dear" the white haired woman smiled, watching as ( y/n ) eagerly nodded.
"if you don't mind me asking, would it be okay for you to make a list for ingredients and instructions on how you made these pancakes?" ( y/n ) questioned, her mouth still full.
akari's grandma laughed, "of course i don't mind." she smiled, motioning for akari to grab a pen and paper.
once the elderly woman had a pen and paper in her grasps, she immediately began writing.

after a morning bath, the two girls changed into clothes akari offered them and got ready to leave.
they stood at the doorstep, waiting for akari's grandma as she was packing them snacks.
"here you go, you two. have a safe trip back home. you can keep these lunch boxes too" the woman smiled, giving them two pastel pink colored lunch boxes that had flowers decorating the sides.
though it was quite childish, they did appreciate and love it.
"and take care of the paper, make sure not to lose it on your way ( y/n )" the grandma smiled, giving the said girl a head pat followed with a forehead kiss.
ha-neul audibly scoffed, earning a laugh from the grandma as the elderly woman gave the brown haired girl a headpat that followed with a forehead kiss too.
"we'll be leaving now!" ha-neul waved, ( y/n ) following right after as they began their journey to the train station.

"so, what's our next move?" ha-neul spoke, now comfortably sat in the train with ( y/n ).
"we'll be moving fast. first target is aera an right? we'll go meet him immediately when we get back home" ( y/n ) answered, sipping on a juice box.
"so that means we should get enough rest for now." ( y/n ) continued her statement, earning a nod from ha-neul who immediately fell asleep.
