I look over and see him. He's in a tuxedo, his smile lights up the room. His brown to blond, shoulder-length hair moves along his face, shaping it perfectly. His tie is loosely opened around his neck, and his top button remains undone. He shows a sloppy, but yet put together look. The power it has making everyone look very overdressed rather than him looking underdressed.
His name gets announced as he walks down the stairs, "The Duke Kenma of Elsburge. He is wearing a Tuxedo by Kuroo? Whomever that may be." The person announcing says, his thick British accent coming through.
Kenma struts down the stairs, a smirk settled on his face. He finds his friend Kuroo by a few girls and starts talking to him. I grin, obviously excited to possibly meet Kenma and learn more about him. I look over at him and we make eye contact. I freeze and then smile, waving warmly. He waves back and gestures me over.
"Hi! My name is Kenma! Er well I guess they already said that... and you probably know... but uhm hi!" He says stumbling over his words, his cute British accent making it more funny and overall adorable.
"Er hi my name is y/n! And omigosh I know you probably get this a lot but you are adorable!!" I say scared he might mention my gross American accent.
"Awe thanks y/n!" He begins smiling softly, "and you are very cute yourself! And I love your accent! You're American?" He finishes, questioning the last bit.
"Yeah... but I wanted to come here and explore, and maybe even move here!" I sat the excitement showing at the end.
"Oh that sounds really nice- ouch let go please." Kenma says realizing that one of the girls by Kuroo had latched her way on to his arm. She lets go apologizing profusely for not asking.
"Oh please just ask next time! Thank you for apologizing!!" He says being polite and not wanting any trouble with her. She nods and continues her conversation with Kuroo.
"Hey uhm y/n would you like to go to the library? I think it's be a nice quiet place to talk." Kenma says his attention returning to me.
"Oh that'd be very nice!" I say cheerfully as we walk away towards the place.
When we finally arrive we find a bookshelf and sit on the ground. I decide to take out my hairspray/gel feeling this is a good place to unwind a tiny bit, hoping soon Kenma and I could become friends.
Kenma's face turns slightly distorted and I feel extremely bad for some reason and start apologizing.
"Hey.. hey sweets, there is nothing to be sorry for you to be sorry for!! You look beautiful!" Kenma says showing many signs of concern for me. I smile a little and then we continue talking. We end up talking all night and we get ourselves painted together for his small cottage.
Kenma takes my hand and leads me out to the garden. "Y/n I was wondering if you would like to date me? I love you so much and want to live with you!" Kenma says as the night comes to an end.
"Kenma... this is the first time we've met, I currently feel the same but I don't want this to just change a few days later." I say my voice full of regret and hurt for having to mention it.
"Okay fine. We can date and I'll get you a room in Kuroo's house." Kenma says begrudgingly but being the gentleman he is allowing some movement on his side.
"Deal." I say shaking his hand flashing my smile.
~Time Skip to a Week Later~
Time has passed and I still am in love with a British gentleman I met on "accident. But the letters from my family continue to pile up.
"Just come home..." is basically what they all say. I love them and all but... they made me leave... they were all were so judgmental...
I may love my family, but I love Kenma more. That's when I realized I have made my decision. I want to stay here. I run over to Kenma's place and tell him. In the next few weeks we move in together and live the rest of our lives together.
