Kenma is the only thing that can cheer Shōyō up, literally the ONLY thing. First it started off simple, a breakup with Kageyama. Then it escalated, quickly. Kenma confessed his feelings after hiding for a while. Ever since then no one could get the two apart. Kenma made Shōyō happy and vise versa, in fact they were so happy Shōyō had thought about switching schools to be with Kenma (and away from Kageyama). However that plan was stopped by Suga after reminding Shōyō about his sister and friends.
Kenma decided he wanted to push forward and go to the next step, well the next two steps. He opened his laptop and started scrolling, he wanted to find the perfect ring for Shōyō, he wanted to make sure to promise to make him happy and figured a promise ring would be the best way to do so.
After a while of scrolling he found the perfect ring, it came with a chain so Shōyō could keep it on under his shirt and not have it fall off of his hands. The ring was a dark shade of silver and the inside was engraved with the date they started dating. On the outside it had a cool design containing a volleyball and a lot of cool vine-like lines.
The order had been placed and set to arrive by May 17th. Kenma smiled and decided to start planning out how their date was going to go.
-time skip-
Two weeks has passed and it is finally May 17th, the day before their date and the day the ring comes in. A smile forms on Kenma's face his plan was finally coming together, he'd be able to tell Shōyō the truth. Suddenly there's a knock on the door and Kenma hops up from his chair to go check it, there's a mailman with a small package for him. He signs it off and grabs the box, he gets the box opener and cuts it down the tape. A smile appears on his face as he sees the ring, it's exactly what he hoped for. The ring embodied what he saw Shōyō as. He went to get a ring box that he bought the week before this and put it in the box.
Kenma's face was lit up with nothing other than joy and love. He finally had everything ready for tomorrow. The day passes through as normal, he texts Shōyō the whole day and then goes to sleep.
8 hours later it's 6:00am and the day of their date. Kenma texts Shōyō.

Good morning my love!!
Don't forget about our
date :) wear something
somewhat nice <33

Shōyō <3
Okay!!
I love you!! See you
in a few hours <3

Kenma smiles at the messages and begins getting ready. He puts on a short sleeved button up and a pair of black jeans, next he pulls his hair into a short ponytail and puts on some deodorant.
He got the ring and put it in his Jean pockets, 'this is going to be the best day ever!!' Kenma thought. He drives down to Shōyō's town and goes to a tree, their tree.
He looks up at their initials carved into the tree and smiles, he lays out a blanket and sits down on it. Kenma scrolls through his phone until he hears a person walking towards him, he looks up and sees Shōyō. He smiles and sits him down, they talk for what seems like hours. Finally Kenma starts to say his "speech" he prepared.
"Shōyō, the love of my life, I know we haven't been together for that long but I want to promise to you that I will never be to you like Kageyama was to you, I will truly love you and take care of you. You make me the happiest man alive." He hands Shōyō the box and says, "so will you take this promise ring?" Shōyō smiles and nods, "yes, yes, yes!! Of course Kenma!! I love you!!" The two drive to Kenma's house with Shōyō riding passenger. When they get home Kenma yells hi to his mom and the pair run upstairs.
Shōyō grabs a remote from the desk and they play the switch for a bit. Finally Kenma says it. "Shōyō, May I kiss you?"
Shōyō laughs and says, "of course you can!!"
Kenma moves in and kisses Shōyō, he smiles into, but Shōyō deepens it. Kenma's breath jolts surprised of Shōyō's confidence. He then flips Shōyō onto the bed and moves away from his lips and onto his neck. He sucks and leaves a mark on him, "wow I guess you really are obsessed with me aren't you, Kitten."
Kenma's breath heightens and he slowly starts taking off Shōyō's shirt. He pulls it off over Shō's head and slowly kisses down his body leaving a trail to his v-line. He then goes back off and takes off his own shirt. The two continue to make out and leave trails of kisses and markings down their one another's bodies until they both start to get tired and end up falling asleep in each others grasps.

I didn't realize how long it'd been since I updated sorry!!
Also I got my second Covid shot and almost fainted the day after from not drinking enough water/Gatorade so if you're getting it I recommend making sure to drink and keep your nutrients up <33
