Chapter 13 (Niall and Jane)

Niall

I set down my guitar and glanced at my watch. Louis had just left and my bed, which was once tidy, was now all ruffled and wrinkly, thanks to Louis. I tried to fix it as best I could before heading down to the reception. I walked towards the reception desk were the girl that was there yesterday was standing. She'd tried to flirt with me, but it just didn't work. "Hello again! I was wondering if I could book a taxi so I could go meet my girlfriend!" I said to her cheerfully, putting more stress on the word girlfriend. "Your girlfriend?! Oh right, erm let me just ring them for you. Where would you like to be dropped off?" she sighed grabbing the phone. "Starbucks please, in Belfast." I replied with a smile.

She dialled the taxi firm and then I walked outside, waiting for the taxi to come. Suddenly I heard the most piercing noise; girls screaming. Dear god! Leave me alone for once! "OH MY GOD! NIALL HORAN!" I turned around on my heels and saw a group of 5 or 6 girls standing with their mouths hanging open. "Alright girlies?!" I replied ruffling my hair. "Uhhh, his accent is so hot..." one of the girls mumbled. I couldn't help but smirk. "Niall, would you sign my phone for me?" the girl at the front asked. She had bleach blonde hair and huge gold hoop earrings. Not my type as you can tell. "Sure, why not?!" I replied with a wink. She handed me a sharpie and I did my trademark squiggle on the back of her phone. "Thank you so much! And tell Harry I love him for me!" she squeeled. "Okay." I replied and walked away. That was awkward. I heard a horn go and immediately jumped into the taxi, trying not to attract too much attention. "Niall Horan?" the taxi driver asked. "Yup, that's me!" I replied.

I got to 'Starbucks' and immediately saw Jane standing outside, wearing leggings and a 'Jack Wills' hoodie. "Hey!" she shouted over as I got out of the taxi. "Hey!" I shouted back as I ran over to her, giving her a hug in the process. She wasn't really my girlfriend yet, I just said that to the woman so she would know that I'm not interested in her. Don't get me wrong, I'd love Jane to be my girlfriend, but I want to get to know her more, unlike the rest of the guys who just went straight on in there. "Gosh, I'm freezing! Come on, let's get inside before we die of frost bite!" she exclaimed, making her way in.

There were no teenage girls there surprisingly, so we sat down at the table we sat at yesterday. "Oh my goodness! Are you two going to become regulars?!" the woman asked from behind the counter as we sat down. I looked at Jane who just grinned at the woman sweetly. "So what can I get you two?" she asked. "The usual!" I replied laughing. She grinned and walked off to the coffee maker. "So how are you?!" Jane asked smiling. "I haven't seen you in ages!" she added in a jokey voice. I smirked at her and replied, "I know! It feels like years!" We both laughed and then tried to be serious. That didn't work either, we just cracked up again. Her eyes were so pretty, like a sparkly blue colour. I didn't realise that the coffee had arrived; I'd been too busy staring at Jane. "Nialler?" she said waving her hand in front of my face. What is it with people doing that?! "Sorry, I was just thinking." I said grabbing my cup of coffee. She smiled and slowly sipped at the piping hot coffee.

We'd been talking for ages, letting our coffee go cold. I found out at that Jane lives in a little town called Holywood just down the road from Belfast and she has a black labrador called Benjie. "Gosh, what time is it?!" Jane exclaimed looking down at her watch. "1:30pm, do you want to go get some lunch?" I asked. "Sure why not!" she replied with a grin. We got up and went to pay for the drinks when I offered to pay for both of us. "Thanks Niall, you're a real gentleman." she replied with a grin. I couldn't help but blush. We walked out of the cafe and made our way to 'Victoria Square' the big shopping centre in Blefast.

We were taking the lift up to food floor when we saw Harry and Ashley on the escalator, laughing and holding hands. "Hey Jane, take a look at this. It's Harry with his new girlfriend." I said bringing her towards the window. "Oh my god! That's Ashley!" she exclaimed. She got off on the next stop and ran towards Harry and Ashley, me towing behind. "Ashley! Oh my god!" Jane exclaimed. "Jane? What the hell are you doing here?!" Ashley squeeled as she flung her arms around Jane. "Hey Niall!" Harry said giving me a manly hug. "I see you got yourself a girl." Harry said winking. "We're just friends Harry." I said grinning. "Besides, I heard you were 'busy' this morning." I said winking at him. "I was indeed, but seriously Nialler, I do love Ashley. She's just ughh." he replied trailing off at the end and tilting his head at Ashley admiringly. "You're drooling Harry! Dear Jesus." I muttered under my breath, starting to laugh.

"What's he drooling at?" Ashley asked turning around with a confused look on her face. She soon realised when she turned to face Harry and saw him gopping at her. She giggled and kissed him; Harry wrapping his arms around her as she did. "Get a room you two." a voice said from behind me. How could I not recognise that voice. "Vas appenin'?!" Zayn said followed by another manly hug. "Hey Zayn." I said ruffling his hair. He then started fixing it again. Typical Zayn. "Hey guys!" Clara said pulling Zayn to her side. "Hey Jane!" she squeeled letting go of Zayn and hugging Jane. "Why has nobody told me about their super hot boyfriends?!" she exclaimed. "It's only been two days Jane, we haven't been going out that long." Ashley said finally breaking free from Harrys' lips.

He was so happy, I've actually never seen him this happy since the X-Factor. His eyes were marvelling at Ashley every second. "Right well, we're on our way to 'TGI Fridays' do you want to come?" Ashley asked, grabbing Harrys' hand, making him give her a peck on the cheek. "Yeah sure!" Jane said. I suddenly felt like a third wheel, everybody was snogging and hugging. I couldn't do that to Jane! It's too soon, I think. Jane smiled at me and we walked behind everyone as they made their way to 'TGI Fridays'. "Don't feel awkward." Jane blurted out. It was like she knew what I was thinking. "Well, I could make it not feel awkward." I replied with a cheeky smile.

She stopped in her tracks and turned to face me. "You don't have to do this for me you know." she said looking down at her feet shyly. I lifted my hand and brought it up to her face, making her look up at me. "But I want to, I've been wanting to for the past two hours." I replied beaming a cheeky grin at her, making her giggle. "Why didn't you?" she asked curiously, getting closer and closer to my lips. "I didn't know you felt the same way." We were so close, I could feel her sweet breath on neck. I put my hands around around her waist making her smile and wrap her arms around my neck. I brought my lips closer and she went the rest of the way. Her lips were soft and gentle, perfect on mine. I couldn't help but grin at this moment, I'm going to remember it forever. "I knew they'd kiss sooner or later." I could hear Harry say.
