"Hurry up Mandy!" My mom screams as I rush to the car. "I'm coming, hold on!" I rush to the car. "Where are we going?" I ask my mom. "THE MALL!!!!...yay.." She tries to cheer me up. My mom is 36, and loves shopping. Sometimes I forget she's my mom. She's like a best friend, or a 12 year old girl trapped in a 36 year old lady's body. I remember when I wasa little I would have slumber party's with her. It was always me, my mom, and my little sister.
I never really had a dad. He left when I was 6 days old. I guess having a kid at 20 wasn't his plan. But, I love my mom because she always stood with me. Even though, she was 19.
My sister is 13. Her name is Jordyn. Apparently she's all popular and what not. She is the best little sis anyone could ask for. Jordyn isn't one of those sweet-in-front-of-friends types ,but she's always sweet. I love her. Her dad stayed for 2 years and then my mom caught him cheating one day when she came home from work.
My mom has a great job. She's a lawyer. She used to work at Barnes and Nobles. So just 2 days ago we moved from DC to California.
As my mom drives me to the mall she says, " So, what do you want to get? A dress, maybe a few skirts.. OMG we should totally give you a haircut!!!"
"Mom I'm just getting a few shirts and pants as always"
"Well... You just moved across the country, don't you want to start fresh?"
" Ya I guess.."
I thought about what she said. Did I really want to be the loner bullied kid again? Soon we got to the mall, "Here we are!" My mom says.
We walk in and go straight to Charlotte Russe. My mom picks out a ton of outfits. Crop tops, skinny jeans, graphic tees, overalls, sweats, breanies, and well...you know... undergarments, just to name a few items we bought. We went home and tried on all of my clothes.
