We both got up. After skating for a few more hours we decided it was time to leave. We got in the car and drove home. My mom wasn't going to be home for a week, she was in mexico at a wedding.
I looked through the pantry and the fridge to try and find dinner, all I could find was a left over hot dog from two weeks ago. "Gross" I mumbled to myself as I threw it away. "We don't have anything to eat...sorry" I say to Cameron. "Let's go to dinner" Cameron says.
At the resturaunt I notice someone staring at me. I tell Cam I'm going to the bathroom, I walk by the suspicious character. I realize that it is my old crush from middle school, I stopped liking him because he started doing drugs in 9th grade. The last day of 9th grade he told me he liked me and asked me out, I turned him down. I go into the bathroom and splash my face with water. I come back out and sneak another peek at the boy just to make sure I'm not crazy. "Everything alright?" Cameron asks. "Ya great" I lie.
We walk back to the car when I notice we were being followed. I turn around and Mason is standing in the distance. "We have to go now" I rush Cameron. We quickly get back to the house. Cameron stops me before I sit on the couch. "Are you okay? What happened back there?" He asks me. I hesitate to tell him but I know I can't lie.
* LATER THAT NIGHT *
Me and Cameron lay in my bed. "Wait so how is Mason here?" He asks me. "I have no clue..." I say. Soon we both fall asleep.
* THE NEXT MORNING *
I wake up from a text alert for Cameron and I. I check my phone saying there will be a party tonight at 6.
