so i finished binge watching " The summer I turned pretty " recently, well like i already watched the whole thing twice in less than 24 hours. YES, that's how much I loved it ! This is one of those rare occasion where the show turned out to be way better than the book ( in my opinion at least ) . And the whole cast ??? damn !
and as usual- now i need to watch every related interview & read deep dives & director commentary & watch scenes again from a post-finishing-season lens & hear what made actors play their characters that way. watching every interview available & edits & hearing Lola Tung discuss how she relates to Belly & Christopher Briney discuss how Conrad's story feels more fleshed out in the show because it gives room and space to truly explain his story & Sean Kaufman discuss how he got to make this role his own in collaboration with the writers & then proceeding to read all three books again in a span of two days -
I have never been relaxed, ever.
well so,
i won't really stick to any one format or anything in this book , it's just gonna be some reviews, rants, opinions, letters, how i feel about the characters/scenes/plot and idk what else , all related to the show
can't wait for the next season !! but it's one year later ugh-
