Dancing In The Dark

Hoseok's POV
My alarm went off so I got up, turned it off and got ready for the day, I made some toast and quickly ate and walked to the dance studio for the lyrical, since there was just gonna be a little dance that we are gonna learn for today. I changed into my dance clothes and went in the studio and sat with Ally. "Hey Hoseok! How'd you sleep?" "I slept okay, except for the part where my alarm clock always rings in the morning." I sighed and rubbed my eyes a bit. After about 10 minutes almost everyone was there, except for three students. "Okay class, I guess we'll wait for the last three students now." Everyone groaned and wanted to get the class over with. Finally the three students walked in, it was Seulgi, Taemin and Chungha, basically the ones who are on the top of everyone. "Okay class let's start."

The teacher called people one by one to dance a part we had learned. "Hoseok you're fine, okay next up is Seulgi." "Wait why can't he go?" I looked at her then looked away. "There are reasons why he can't and that is none of your concern." She scoffed. "Well he's a student here isn't he? You have to have confidence to dance, no wonder why he's at the bottom of the dancing pyramid, he probably sucks at dancing." "Seulgi! Enough of your talking and just dance already." She sighed and went in the middle and danced. "Thank you. When you're turning your shoulders need to be straight!"

She nodded and went back to her friends. The bell rang and the teacher let us go. I went to my dance locker and grabbed my regular clothes, but before I could grab something else, someone closed the locker. "Why do you get to not dance? You think you're special?" Seulgi glared at me. "I-It's really none of your concern..." I tried backing away but someone was behind me and I looked at him. It was Taemin, a friend of Seulgi, he was a great dancer, basically ranked #2 in the school. "You know it's rude to back away from someone talking to you." Seulgi sighed. "Why are you even here if you can't dance in front of 18 people? It'll be worse if you can't learn how to dance in front of thousands or millions of people. Do yourself a favor and leave if you don't have the confidence." Seulgi shoved me while walking away and Taemin following, and also Chungha. "I'm sorry about what she did..." Chungha whispered and quickly left with Seulgi and Taemin. I sighed and opened my locker and grabbed my phone, changed in a restroom stall and quickly ran to my next class. I quickly went in and sat in the desk. "Late Mr.Jung, I expect you not to be late again or I will send you to detention." I nodded and put my bag down and listened to the teacher. "Now today we will be watching parts of different ballet concerts, specifically the #1 dancer in this academy." He put on a video and I was focused on the person that was dancing. He was moving so elegantly, and really smoothly, even his turns were beautiful and I would like to dance like that someday.

The video finished and the teacher started explaining how he had been gone performing everywhere and luckily he will be back soon. Everyone started whispering about him, some saying they really like him or envy him. I didn't care much about what they said and just minded my own business, I never understand why they go so caught up with him sometimes. Finally the bell rang and I went to my dorm quickly and plopped down in bed and sighed. Once the #1 dancer is here, everything will be on him, everyone asking how all the concerts went, and how all the practices were with professional dancers.

I was feeling really tired and decided to fall asleep early today, so I changed into pajamas, washed my face and brushed my teeth and went back into bed and finally fell asleep.
