Hoseok's POV
Jimin was driving to the restaurant his parents were at and he seemed nervous. "You okay?" "Yeah...yeah I'm fine." I held his hand and gave a tight squeeze. "It's going to be okay." I smiled a bit and he relaxed a bit. "Okay, we're here." He parked the car and we both got out and met up with his parents. "Jimin, it's nice to finally see you again!" His mom hugged him. "Hey Mom." I was behind Jimin and she saw me. "Is this the boyfriend?" I walked up a bit. "Hi I'm Hoseok." "Nice to meet you Hoseok." I shook hands with his parents and we sat at a table and ordered our drinks. "So Hoseok tell me a little about yourself." The dad looked at me. "Well I'm graduating this year, and I would like to become a dance instructor after I graduate." "Okay, do you have any siblings?" "Only a little brother. He's 15." Jimin held my hand tightly. He nodded. "What about your parents?" They both looked at me. "W-Well, my mom is in the picture but I never really got to know my dad...he left."Our drinks came in and we all ordered our food. "So how did you two meet?" "We met during lunch, he came and saw with me and my other friend Ally. And we just kept talking after that." "Yeah, I was able to convince him to dance in the winter show." Jimin smiled a bit. "What does your mom do?" Why do they keep asking about his mom? Jimin was thinking to himself. "Well, she works at a bank. And at night she works at a restaurant." "Do you have a job?" "I'm a server at a restaurant." Finally the meal came in and we all started eating but it was a very awkward silence.
~Later On~
No ones POVThey all finished their dinner, payed and walked out and walked together to the car. "You two seem like a great couple." The mom smiled but her smile faded and she turned serious. "But I'm not allowing this to continue." "What do you mean mom?" "He's lying to you Jimin! His life is all a lie!" She threw a folder to Jimin. "His dad had passed away, he didn't leave him or his mom and brother at all! His mom doesn't work at a restaurant at night, she does dangerous things! Some that are illegal!" Jimin looked through the folder while Hoseok was confused. "So if you knew all of this about him why bother meeting him?! So what if his life is different!" Jimin threw the folder onto the ground. The mother walked up to Hoseok and grabbed his wrist. "You may think you can lie to my son but you can't lie to me or his father!" "Mom that's enough!!" Jimin pushed her away. "Hoseok just sit in the car. I'm gonna talk to my mom." "O-Okay..." Hoseok got into the car and closed the door. "Mom what the hell?! You had no right to investigate Hoseok like that!" "I did have a right if he's dating my son!" "No it doesn't!! You are a horrible person for what you did! You're not stopping me from dating him!" "Yes I can!" "No you can't!!" He started walking away. "If you still date him then you're no longer our son!" "Then I guess I'm not your son anymore!" Jimin got into the car and held Hoseok's hand.
"I'm so sorry about what she did Hoseok." "....It's fine." He looked out the window and looked at the sky. Jimin parked the car and sighed. "You should listen to your mom Jimin." He looked at him. "What do you mean Hoseok?" "You should find someone else that has a better life than me!" They both got out of the far and Jimin followed Hoseok. "Babe you don't mean that!" "Yes I do Jimin! You're with a good family with a normal life while mine was a fucking lie Jimin!" Hoseok started crying and he went into his dorm but Jimin stopped him from closing the door completely and ran up to Hoseok and pulled him in a hug. "I'm not gonna do that Hoseok! You're the one that makes me happy, no one else can do that!" Jimin teared up. "I don't care about what happened in your life! I just want to be by your side!" Hoseok calmed down and just relaxed into Jimin's arms. "I love you so much Hoseok." "I love you too." Jimin picked him up bridal style and walked to the room and cuddled him. Hoseok had fallen asleep pretty fast and Jimin just admired him and fell asleep as well.
