Chapter 15: A New Chapter Begins: The Chūnin Exam!

Team 7 waited for Kakashi on a bridge, he was late once again like always. Aika yawned as she leaned against Naruto, half asleep.

"Aika what's with you, you're always tired, don't you sleep?" Sakura questions

"of course" Aika yawns

"Of course she stays up reading books almost all night" Naruto crosses his arms

"Big brother why do you have to call me out like that" Aika whines

"Idiot" Sasuke sighs "do something more useful like training"

"but that's boringggggggggg" Aika complains

Kakashi suddenly appeared out of nowhere, smiling. 

"Hey guys! Good morning. Sorry I'm late. I'm afraid I got lost on the path of life" He greets happily

"Like hell" the twins mumble together

 "I'm ready for our next ninja mission. No more of this dumb beginner stuff! I want the chance to prove myself! I'm talking a real mission where I can show what I'm made of!! I'm burning up!! See?!" Naruto shouts

"Take it easy would you" Sasuke comments annoyed

Naruto glares at Sasuke annoyed "BELIEVE IT"

"...what are we believing?" Aika asks completely unmotivated

During the D ranked missions, Naruto tried to outdo Sasuke which resulted in Naruto getting a purple eye, getting saved from almost drowning, getting dragged by a huge dog, and getting blown up. 

"Look at you, you're hopeless" Sakura comments as she and Aika help carry Naruto

"You're one big problem" Sasuke agrees

"Sasuke" Naruto growls

"knock it off" Aika smacks him upside the head

"owww, Aika" Naruto whines

"Don't fight" Aika says boredly

Naruto turns to Sasuke "Our team work is all messed up because of you, Sasuke! You think you're better than everyone else?!"

"Not everyone, just you" Sasuke replies "Face it, I'm better than you are. It's a fact, unless you have what it takes to prove me wrong"

"Knock it off!" Aika's hair sets ablaze and the group takes a step away from her

"Alright everyone, let's call it a day before Aika sets the village on fire" Kakashi intervenes "You guys can beat each other to a pulp some other time, I have to file my report on the mission"

"Whatever, I'm out of here" Sasuke looks away

"Wait, Sasuke! I'll go with you!" Sakura calls out "Let's do something more personal. I mean to improve our teamwork and all."

"I swear, you're just as bad as Naruto" Sasuke looks annoyed "Instead of flirting, why don't you practice your jutsu and make the team stronger? Let's face it, you're actually worse than Naruto"

Sakura looks down sad as Sasuke walks away.

"Ah" Aika ran over "Sakura, why don't we work on jutsu's together"

"huh" Sakura looks at her and smiles "yeah sure, thanks Aika"

"Oh! Can I come!" Naruto runs over

"No way!" Sakura puts her hand out "we're having some girl only training"

"Aw man" Naruto whines

"Come on Aika" Sakura sets off towards the training grounds

"Naruto, I'll go to the store after I get back" Aika tells him before running off

Naruto sighs "my little sister ditched me again"

As Aika made her way through the store she notices Naruto, Konohamaru, Udon, and Moegi run past with Sakura running after them angrily. She curiously walks out of the store and walks in the direction they ran. When she turned the corner she saw Sakura, Naruto, Udon, and Moegi standing together in front of 2 unknown ninja, male and female. The older male was holding Konohamaru up by the collar.

"Put him down!" Naruto shouts

"heh, first I'll take care of this little squirt, then I'll hurt the other one" the unknown male ninja declared

The moment he moved his arm back Aika's eyes turned red and her hair went ablaze, in a flash she was behind the male ninja. His eyes look at her shocked right before Aika slammed her palm into him back with so much force he let go of Konohamaru and fell forward with a cough of blood.

"Aika!" Naruto shouts surprised

"How did she get there so fast" the unknown male ninja wipes his mouth

Konohamaru quickly runs over to Naruto as Aika took a step back from the ninja.

"Powerful little squirt aren't you" the unknown male ninja stood up and faced Aika, towering over her with his height

Aika just stared at the ninja with her glowing red eyes

"Aika be careful!" Sakura shouts

"Don't just stand there idiot!" Naruto shouts looking worried

"hmph, don't you hear them little girl" the ninja smirks "you don't wanna mess with me"

"Oh I'm sure I do" Aika replies "any guy brave enough to pick on a little kid is asking for trouble"

"oh yeah" the guy cracks his knuckles

"Aika!" Naruto runs forward

The ninja goes to grab Aika who doesn't move, suddenly a small rock hits the ninja's arm with enough force to knock it back. The ninja and Aika turn their head to the tree where Sasuke is sitting on a branch tossing a rock up and down.

"You're a long way from home and you're way out of your league" Sasuke says as he glares at him "Hands off my girl"

'...his..girl?' Sakura, Naruto, and Aika all thought

"Oh great. Another wimp to tick me off" the male ninja complains

"Get lost" Sasuke orders as he crushes the rock in his hand

"Hey punk, get down here. You're the kind of pesky little snot I hate the most. All the attitude and nothing to back it up" the ninja says annoyed

"Oh really?" Aika smirks "I really wonder how you live with yourself then"

"You brat!" the ninja goes to punch her

Suddenly a boy with dark pink hair jumps down in front of her and catches the unknown ninja's fist.

"now now, it's impolite to strike a lady" the boy pushes the male ninja back

"What is with all these new people showing up in Konoha today?" Aika mumbles

 "hmph, if it's a fight you all want then i'm ready" the male took something off his back

"What?! You're going to use the crow for this?!" The blonde girl with him exclaims

"Kankuro, back off" A deep voice orders, on the other side of the tree stood a boy with reddish hair and thick black rings around his eyes. He also had a cold, unnerving stare "You're an embarrassment to our village"
