Chapter 10

Luke's POV:
When we got into the hospital we saw Tori's parents being wheeled away. The nurse said they were in surgery and would hopefully be out soon. We went to the waiting area. Tori was bawling her eyes out. I do't blame her I would be to if this happened to my parents.
"I-It's all my f-fault", sobbed Tori
"Its not your fault you couldn't of prevented it", I reinsured her
"If I didnt blow them off for the carnival we could have stayed home and hey wouldnt hae gotten in the car accident", said Tori
Tori's POV:
I don't get why bad things always happen to good people. My parents were saints, they wouldn't hurt a fly. Right when everything is perfect it all came crashing down. I couldn't breath. Luke was trying to comfort me and I love him for trying but it wasn't working. I just needed to get away. I got up and just ran. I had no idea where I was going I just couldn't stay there. By now I'm out of breath, I'm thirsty, my heart was practically beating out of my chest. I decided I should stop. Luckily I was right next to a diner. I sat thinking. I had so many emotions. All of a sudden my phone went off.
Luke: "Where did you go?"
Me: "Sorry I just needed to get way."
Luke: "Well I'm pretty sure your parents are out of surgery so are you heading back soon?"
Me: "Yeah,I'll see you soon babe. Love you."
Luke: "Love you to. Be careful."
