Love at first catch

Mother-in-law!

It's been a couple of months since we told my parents, sister and Chris that I am pregnant, and Bryan has been an absolute sweetheart to me helping with everything. We sat at the couch and I suddenly squeal "babe, come here", he looked confused at me and grabbed his hand and put in on my belly, his eyes widen "wow, is that her?" he asked as he felt the baby kicked and I nodded, after a few minutes it stopped and he looked up at me, "babe we are still missing that fact that my mum don't know it yet". I looked at him and put my hand in front of my mouth as I gasp, "shit, we have to do that as soon as possible, omg she is going to hate me because of it" I said looking down, Bryan started laughing and I slapped him on the arm, "babe, don't worry, she is not going to hate you at all" he said with a smile, "does she even know you have a girlfriend" I asked while looking at him serious, "um, no I don't think so", I slapped him again a little harder "ow babe, stop hitting me" he said with a small laugh, "this is going to be so awkward babe, the day we are going to introduce me we also tell her that she is going to be a grandmother" I said with my head in my hands. "it will be fine babe, we just have to figure out when we have to tell her" he said, suddenly a knock at the door interrupted our talk, Bryan got up and looked through the peak hole, "well speak of the devil" he said laughing, I looked confused at him as he opened the door, "hi mum" he said hugging someone, my eyes got big and I got nervous and my hands where sweaty. Well I guess I'm about to meet my mother-in-law, I ran in to the bedroom and closed the door and looked trough my closet to find some cloth to put on so I at least looked decent. A small knock at the door and Bryan came in and looked at me as I panicked scattered through my closet, "babe, what on earth are you doing" he asked while giggling, "I cant face your mum in this cloth" I said out of breath, "hey, you are pregnant, take it easy and breath babe, she don't care what you are wearing as long as you make me happy" he grabbed my hands and pulled me in for a hug to try to calm me down, "I just don't want her to get the wrong impression of me", "she won't I promise you". I took a deep breath and followed him out of the bedroom in to the living room and I continued out to the kitchen to make some tea and I heard them talk in the living room, "mum what are you doing here, how did you even know I was here?" Bryan asked, "well I'm in town for a few days and I wanted to check up on my boys, plus Chris said you probably would be here, he comes in just a couple of moments with his girlfriend" she answered. "mum I have some things to tell you" he said in a low voice, "Lulu, come in here" he called, I walked slowly in to the living room and sat down in the couch at his side, his mum looked at me and smiled, Bryan cleared his throat "mum this is my girlfriend Lulu, and she lives here, but we have something very important to tell you, so don't freak out, okay" she smiled and nodded, "well you probably know about the accident from Chris" he said, "yes I do" she answered, "okay good, but when she was in the hospital we found out that she is pregnant, and by now she is around 5-6 months in her trimester" he explained, she looked at the both of us very serious, and the light up in a smile "I'm getting a daughter-in-law and a grandbaby in the same day, I'm so happy for you both" and she leaned and hugged us both at the same time, "the most important thing is that you love and you make each other happy", we sat and talked for a couple of hours and my sister and Chris joined us.
