Him, Her or Me!

It's been a couple of weeks since you came home from the hospital with Lina, at the moment she is sleeping in her room, Bryan isn't home so you just sit in the couch watching a movie and trying to relax. As you are watching the movie Bryan comes home, he looks at you and smile and then go to take a shower, you looked back at the tv and start to think. The last couple off weeks Bryan has been acting different, he has started to take distance from you, he is gone for the most off the day, when he is home, he doesn't really talk to you and spends a lot off time on his phone, when you go to bed, he lays with his back to you, he doesn't cuddle you anymore or kiss you for that matter, and it's starting to worry you a lot. You shift around in the couch as you mind continue to wander "what if he found someone else? What if he got bored with me? What if he realized he didn't want Lina? Did he regret being with me or getting me pregnant?" you cover your head in your hands and tears start to roll down your cheeks, you hear the shower turn off and you quickly take a deep breath and wipe the tears of your cheeks with the sleeve of your hoodie. You walk into the kitchen to grab some water, as you are pouring the water Bryan comes in and stops in the doorway looking at you, it's like he can sense something is wrong, so he walked over to you and wrap his arms around your waist and puts his head on your shoulder, but you don't say anything. He kisses your cheek "what is wrong, babe?" he asks, you just shrug your shoulders and get out off his grip, "can you watch Lina for a little while, I need to get some stuff done" you ask him without looking at him, "sure, my love" he answers and look at you confused. "thank you" you quickly say as you walk past him to the bedroom and get the laundry, then you grab your phone and headphones and plug them in and start the music and then head out the door without saying anything. You make your way to the laundry room and put it in the machine and then sit down on a chair listening to music to try and calm you mind, as you sit there the young girls living in the same floor as you come in and look at you and then starts to giggle and then walk over to the machines and starts to do their laundry, they keep on glancing over at you and continue giggling and keep talking, you pause the music still having your headset in the ears so you can hear what they are talking about. One of the girls glancing over at you again and say "damn no wonder he is all over you girl, I would be that to if I was with that sack off potatoes over there" she starts to laugh and the other answers "yeah I know right, he even said that he didn't want the girl, that he wished nothing happened with them, that it was all a stupid bet with his friends". I got up and walked over to my machine pretending to not hear what they were saying even though I was screaming in pain on the inside and my heart was breaking. I got the laundry and walked pass the them sending a fake smile and then got back to the apartment, I slowly opened the door and walked as silent as possibly so he wouldn't hear I was back, as I got closer to the bedroom I could hear him talk "she is so stupid, yeah I know, can't even get a second of peace at the moment, she is always there, it was a stupid mistake to do that, yeah I know, I will do it soon, can't keep doing this, she will start to be suspicious about it, see you soon, love you" with the last sentence my heart broke into million pieces, I took a deep breath and walked slowly back to the door opening it and slammed it hard as I yelled "I'm back" I walked into the bedroom and saw he sat on the bed with his phone pretending like nothing happened, I shook my head and then turned the music on again on my phone as I started to fold the laundry and putting it in pace and then I walked out the room without any words and checked on Lina who was still sleeping peacefully in her nest in her room, I walked to the kitchen and started on dinner. After a little while Bryan came in and sat by the counter, I didn't notice him because I stood with my back to him, I turned around and stumble a bit when I saw him and then I took out the headphones laying them on the counter as I continued to cook dinner, he looked at me with a concerned look, he shifted in the seat and opened the mouth to say something, I stopped and looked at him raising one of my eyebrows and crossed my arms over my chest "yes?" I huffed at him, "uh...um..." he cleared his throat "is everything okay, babe?", "oh yeah everything is just great" I answered sarcastically. He raised his eyebrow as hi continued looking at you "really?", "sure, why wouldn't it be?" you answered looking down at the floor taking a deep breath to steady you heart that was pounding in your chest and you fight to hold back the tears. He got up and started to walk over to you and put his hands on you shoulders but you brushed them of "don't touch me" you snapped at him, he looked at you even more confused "what is happening to you, babe?" he asked, you shrug your shoulders and took a deep breath "I don't know, you tell me?" you looked up at him with your tear-filled eyes, "what do you mean?" he answered with a confused look, "never mind, just forget it, I'm going to bed" you walked past him and in to the bedroom and slammed the door and crawled under the covers burying you head in the pillows while crying silent, you heard Lina cry so you got up and went to her before Bryan had a chance to do anything, you took her out of her nest and took her into the bedroom and closed the door and locked it. After a few minutes you heard the doorhandle moving but he couldn't get in "open up babe" he said in a soft voice, "no go away Bryan, leave me alone" you said, he started to knock soft on the door and speak to you in a calm voice "baby, please let me in, I don't understand anything, why won't you let me in", "go sleep on the couch and leave me alone" you said in a stern voice. You hear the sound of footsteps walking away and you sigh in relief and looked down at you baby girl sleeping in your arms, you mind start to wander again "why would he do this to me, what did I ever do to him?" after a little while you called your mum "hi mum, I was wondering if me and Lina could come and stay with you and dad for a little time until I figure everything out" "hey hunny, are you okay? Of course, you can, what about Bryan? Is he coming to?" "no he is not, he is acting weird and there is something going on, but I just can't figure it out at the moment, so I just need a break from him and this place" "of course hunny, our door is always open for you, you know that" "great I'll come by tomorrow then, see you there, love you mum" you hang up and the tears start to run down your face. A little while later you get a text from Bryan.

I'm going out, don't know what I did wrong?

You won't talk to me, so no use for me to be there.

I'm sleeping at a friend's house.

You look at the text and start to shake you head, "yeah right a friend's house you mumble to yourself, a few minutes later you hear the door close and the apartment is completely silent, so you walk over and unlock the door and go out the living room to see if he is completely gone and he is. You walk back to the bedroom and start packing a suitcase with some of your cloth and toiletries and then cloth and stuff for Lina and then pack her baby bag with diapers and stuff like that. When you are done you roll the suitcase and bag over to the front door so it's ready for tomorrow. You sit down in the couch with your arms on your knees and your hands on you head with the fingers entangled in your hair as loud sobs escape your mouth. After a while you hear your phone go of in the kitchen, when you get there you see several texts from Bryan, you start to read them

After you read them you put you phone on silent, and you start to pace around the kitchen and panicking, you take a few deep breaths and calm down. You sit down at the dinner table and look around the room to try to make up your mind, after a while you decide to write him a letter to tell what you are thinking and feeling, and that he don't have to worry about Lina and that she is safe, but you don't tell him where you are.
