The Blue Wolf

Part 16

William's Perspective:

Since I had showered and changed quickly, I knew it'd be at least five more minutes before Ara would get downstairs.

It took everything I had in me to control my wolf and be respectful. Once she let me pull her close without getting mad at me. I wanted to rip her clothes off and make love to her right there. I wanted to kiss every inch of her.

I was proud I was able to control myself. I was wondering what changed in her to turn in bed like that and let me place my fingers on her cheek. I wondered about if it was really just her wolf doing that. But that was impossible. She hasn't shifted yet.

I knew she still didn't want to be here at all, but at least now that we were not fighting anymore, I could get to know her more.

I had told my chef, Murry, to make us both the same breakfast, but to add a little fruit bowl with Ara's. He had been busy with that while thoughts of Arabella filled my mind, I wanted to drown in them.

I heard her footsteps then, coming down the stairs. She was in the kitchen within ten seconds with a smile. She was wearing a pair of tights and one of my baggy sweatshirts. Once she sat down she smiled at me "I hope you don't mind, I'm wearing your sweatshirt." I smiled back at her "No, of course I don't mind, what's mine is yours. Wear what ever you want."

Before she could say or do anything, I dialed her Mother's number and put it on speaker. "I need you to tell your mom that you'll be staying with me now, and that I'm your boyfriend, and that we'll be sending her and your siblings air line tickets booked a week before Christmas. And they'll be spending Christmas with us this year. Even if they reject, the offer is there, just in case they change their mind later on."

She looked at me in astonishment. "Really, you really want to do that?" I said "Yes. It's your family. They're welcome whenever. If they want to stay here forever. That's fine too."

Suddenly her mom picked up. Arabella quickly told her mom everything, and answered every one of her moms questions. Her mom sounded way less worried now "Okay Arabella, we'll definitely think about it, but you call me in a few days okay?" Arabella rolled her eyes "Okay mom talk to you soon. Love you." She looked at me with a happy expression.

I said "Okay so, let's play a game." Arabella looked up at me concerned "What...game?" I said "Why do you always assume the worst? The question game, we go back and forth, cool?"

Murry put our breakfasts in front of us, after saying Enjoy, he walked away.

Arabella started eating her breakfast, "Okay you go first." I prepared at least five or six questions for my turns while I was waiting for her. I said my first one "What's your favourite book?" Arabella looked at me interested in my question and said "Oh man there's so many, but I'd have to say it's this book I read when I was sixteen and just recently read it again, Please Ignore Vera Dietz."

I looked up at her with a smile and said "What you're obsessed with Charlie Khan or something?" She looked at me shocked "No way, you've read it?" I answered "Yes I have. I love all the parts when Charlie's talking from the other side, like being dead and all."

Arabella's face turned into a warm expression "OMG NO WAY, those are all my favourite parts too."

I looked at her with a smirk "Okay next, ask me." She chewed and swallowed her fruit then  said "What's your favourite movie, book and show?"

I quickly answered her  "Movie: Pan's Labyrinth. Book: The Alchemist. Show: Probably Peaky Blinders."

She said "Really?" I said "Yes really." She said "I love that book, especially the end when Santiago realizes that the treasure was where he was all along, I love that movie so much. It's literally like a fairytale for adults, me and my mom both love that movie, and I love that show. It has such good writing."
