The Blue Wolf

Part 25

William's Perspective:

I ran and ran until my limbs literally felt like noodles. I had been running for at least the past hour. I finally stopped and sat down catching my breath, trying to calm the fuck down.

I couldn't shake my anger. I couldn't choose what I was more angry at. At myself for giving him permission to pick her up today instead of following my intuition that this guy was up to no good? At Ryker and his audacity? At my parents for allowing this guy to roam our grounds, which led to Ara meeting the sleaze? Or at Arabella for not trusting me in the first place and befriending the sleaze?

I knew Arabella had pulled herself away. Then she had punched his jaw, and defended herself. I knew she didn't reciprocate anything to him at all. But still I felt cheated or something.

The fact that she had a bite on her lips from him even though it was healed now, made me feel like killing myself. All I could think about was killing Ryker. If I found him, I'd yank his heart out of his chest. I don't know how he so effortlessly fought me and Michael both off. I could take down twenty wolves by myself. Twenty five if I was furious.

It felt like there was another force surrounding him. There had to be a witch near by. I had to talk to Simonetta ASAP. I had to ask her about this. I mind-linked Sami to get all the information he could on what happened from Simonetta.

Michael had notified me through mind already that he had spoken to the council and told them the entire situation. They had agreed, that if Ryker came on our grounds they would have him executed, and also that they'd let him know this information within the hour. Sami had let me know that Arabella was in our room pacing back and forth the last he went up to go speak to her.

I had completely blocked my mind from her. Not wanting to see her or talk to her right now.

But I realized I couldn't hide forever. I started making my way home.

When I opened our bedroom door she was sitting on the corner of my bed. She reminded me of a child, when they feel guilty for something. She stood up and started walking towards me. I moved away from her reach. She frowned at my action. I looked at her in disgust  "Go shower, brush your teeth, and your lips, and please change your clothes. I can't talk to you while his scent is still on you."

"William, if that doesn't prove that you're still angry, I don't know what does. I already did all that, and I had the clothes that I was wearing before burned. Down to the socks. So his scent couldn't be anywhere."

I looked at her "Well I am angry. I went over to the bed and sat down. She walked up to me again and kneeled infront of me, putting her hands on my knees. "William please say something. I'm sorry. I swear I punched him in the jaw. And I swear I saw him as an older brother, nothing more. That's why I felt so safe. You were completely right all along. I'm sorry. I'll do anything. Literally anything. Or if you want, you can do anything to me."

I looked into her eyes with an agitated expression "I know." She stood up and sat beside me "Do you forgive me?" I looked at her "Forgive you for what?" She said "For not listening to you?" I said "Obviously" She leaned forward to kiss me and I pushed her lightly away from me "No.....look. I can't fucking do this right now." And storm out of the room.

Arabella's Perspective:

William was right about everything. I even admitted that to Will. But I wasn't expecting him to be so mean to me. After all I did strike Ryker as hard as I could. It's not like I stood there kissing him. So why wasn't Will calming down now?

The day felt like It went on forever. I spent the whole day alone in the house. I had my breakfast, lunch and dinner on the balcony alone. Waiting for Will like a loser. Sophie came to hangout around 7 pm. She said "Will is gonna come around. He's just being over the top right now. I think maybe its an Alpha thing. Anyways. You shouldn't worry. He's yours. He's not going anywhere Arabella." Sophie left around 9. Around 10 pm I fell asleep in defeat.
