Aurora's POV
It's been two weeks since Theo has asked me to be his girlfriend. Not to be too cliché, but it's been great. He's so sweet. I will admit, however, that the sex is, well, it's sex. Nothing to write home about. It was enough to keep us both satisfied, and keep the girls giggling during our gossip sessions.
It was just a bit repetitive.
With help from Aimee and Priscilla, I finally moved out of the terrible room that I shared with the other girls. I could finally get some sleep without hearing Pansy's obnoxious snoring, at least not so loud.
"We were thinking of hanging out with Mickey, Jayce, and Theo tonight, like, in their dorm," Aimee asked while we walked back to the common room from Transfiguration.
"Sure, sounds great," I smiled. I saw my Gryffindor friends coming from the opposite direction, whispering amongst themselves. "I'll catch up," I told Aimee and Priscilla, running off to meet my friends.
"Oh, hey Rory," Ron exclaimed, causing the other two to look up.
"Hey guys! I haven't seen you in a while," I explained, "I was hoping we could hang out soon!"
"Perhaps after winter break," Hermione stated.
"Yeah! After break!" Harry promised.
"Oh, I was hoping sometime sooner," I admitted.
"Sorry, Rory, we're awfully busy," Ron blurted. Hermione mumbled something to Harry, who tapped Ron. The all gave me sad eyes while they walked away.
"Um, bye," I sighed. I made my way back inside the castle and down to the dungeons. Something felt so weird about that interaction. Honestly, there were a lot of awkward moments between me and the trio. Maybe Malfoy was right. Maybe a group of Gryffindors couldn't really be best friends with someone from Slytherin.
I walked through the corridors, lost in my thoughts. Only when a flash of blonde appeared in my peripheral did I pause my thinking. I stood frozen as I watched Malfoy sneak around the corner. Out of instinct, I followed his path. I was half expecting him to be there waiting for me. When I turned the corner, however, he wasn't there. It was like he vanished into thin air.
Ignoring my want to continue searching, I groaned and entered the common room. Theo sat there, his nose buried in a book.
"Hey there" I smiled, grabbing the book from him and setting it down on the side table. I seated myself in his lap and gave him a quick kiss.
"Hey!" he breathed, returning the kiss, "Are you down for a night with everyone? I mean, we can always go off and do something ourselves."
"No, I'm really excited for tonight!" I exclaimed. He smiled as we talked about both our days.
"In charms! The guy caught the damn thing on fire!" Theo laughed. We giggled and paid no mind to those around us. We didn't notice when Malfoy walked into the common room.
"How are the two lovebirds?" he asked, sitting down on the sofa opposite us. Theo hugged me closer, glaring at Malfoy. He raised his eyebrow expectantly, as if we would answer him. I could hardly look at him since the night of the Ravenclaw party.
"We're fine, Malfoy," Theo griped. Malfoy scoffed and stood up.
"Nott, we need to talk," he snapped then began to walk away, "Well?"
