Aurora's POV

"What do you want Malfoy?" I groaned, taking a step back as he moved closer. He wore his signature smirk while he stood before me. "I was just about to go to bed, couldn't this wait until the morning?" I'd honestly prefer it if we never spoke again.

"Look, I just wanted to say," he started, taking a deep breath, "I'm sorry."

I didn't bother to hide my shocked expression as I took in his words.

"Oh," I answered. I really was not in the mood to deal with him. I wasn't an idiot. "Malfoy, I'd rather not discuss what happened on the train. Can we just move on?" He looked defeated and it threw me off. Why was he so upset about this?

"No, Varn– I mean," he faltered, "Aurora, I am so sorry." I couldn't stop the blush from forming on my cheeks. My name sounded so hot coming from his mouth. I shook away the thought, but the fire kept growing inside of me. What was happening to me? This is Draco Malfoy I'm talking about. I suppose any girl my age would have the same reaction if someone as attractive as Malfoy said their name.

I may hate him, but I won't deny it, he's attractive.

"Malfoy, it's fine. Seriously," I tried to walk past him but his firm grip on my arm said otherwise. "Malfoy, I'm tired," I sighed, "Let me go to–"

I was cut off by his lips on mine. He was in no way gentle as he kissed me. I was frozen in shock and made no move to kiss him back. This just seemed to make him kiss me harder. He attacked my lips roughly until I returned the kiss. When I opened my mouth to protest, his tongue entered and took control. His hands slid down from my face to the sides of my body. He grabbed my hips and pulled them closer to his body. A small groan escaped my lips as I moved my hands to run through his platinum hair.

I started moving us back to the couch by the fireplace. We had made it a few steps when I heard laughter from the steps. Malfoy pulled back, smirk back in place. Goyle and Blaise stood behind him, out of breath from laughing so hard.

"Told you, boys, you'd each owe me a galleon by the end of the night," he said, staring right at me with a mischievous glint in his grey eyes. The boys groaned and began fishing their pockets for the coins.

"I-" I started, tears welling up in my eyes, but I couldn't cry in front of him. I hated being made a fool of, and Malfoy made it look easy. I feel like all I've done since the train ride is cry. I'm so pathetic.
