Chapter 3: Danger on the Horizon

I'm so sorry about the late update, I've been so tired lately but I can finally update this.

I got big plans for this book, so please let this blow up. Also the photo was funny, I had to use it.

Ruby Rose and Izuku Midoriya followed after their mentors, as they headed towards the teacher's room to meet the others. Ruby was in the process of scolding Qrow about his drinking problem.

"Uncle Qrow! You shouldn't be drinking, you become much more of a hassle when you're drunk!"

He chuckled, passing the flask towards Aizawa, who was also taking a sip. "Sorry kiddo, but honestly, we're in a terrible situation right now, and things will probably continue to get worse."

Izuku raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Aizawa?"

Aizawa sighed. "He's right, problem child. This could be the end of not just U.A., but the world as we know it."

They reached the room and entered it, where they found a few other pro heroes such as Midnight, Present Mic, and Cementoss. Also, the retired #1 hero and world-renowned Symbol of Peace, along with being Izuku's teacher and predecessor for his powers, All Might smiled and waved the two in.

"Young Midoriya, it's a pleasure to see you, and Young Rose, my name is All Might, it's good to see such a strong heroine, from what Mr. Branwen have told me, you've made yourself quite the leader.

Ruby was blushing and giggling, "Well, I wouldn't say that, it's mainly our teamwork that bought us this far, hehe..."

'She's clearly enjoying the compliments, does she not get commended for her work often?' Izuku wondered.

Aizawa sat down at the table, and began to enter the looming topic at hand. "Typically, I would say that multiple people coming from an alternate world is a bunch of bullcrap, but I've seen many things, and due to multiple calculations, this isn't improbable. However, a few issues come at hand."

Qrow, despite taking multiple sips from his flask, was able to speak reasonably. "As I explained before, Ozpin is inside Oscar's body, and based on what we learned, his spirit isn't allowed to leave Remnant until we defeat Salem."

Izuku looked confused, while Ruby acknowledged her uncle's words with concerned. "That's true! But then...what does that mean?"

A small white yet intelligent looking rodent spoke up, climbing onto Aizawa's shoulders to speak louder. Principal Nezu said, "It's means that our worlds are connected, and it's possible to travel between the two. However, that also mean our enemies may be able to do the same, and sent you here. They may have already met together, which could cause quite some trouble."

Izuku and Ruby both knew who could bring about the most damage to the world and their friends. The leader of the League of Villians, Tomura Shigaraki, and Salem's Inner Circle along with the newest Fall Maiden, Cinder. If they began working together, both worlds could be destroyed and all hope would be lost.

Izuku spoke up, determination in his eyes. "We can't wait, we need to do all that we can."

Ruby nodded in agreement. "How can we help? Allow us to work with you so we can take them down."

"Now hold on." Both teenagers look towards All Might, who raised a hand to stop them. "I admire your zeal, but take a moment to think. It's not certain that they have met yet, when they'll attack, or where. And while all of you are strong, we all agreed that there's still much training that is needed."

Ruby clutched her chest. "Still...I can't sit around and do nothing..."

All Might walked forward and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, "Don't worry, you won't be. While we find more information, both Team RWBY and JNPR will continue training with Class 1-A. Both of you, whether your recognize it or not, are great influences amongst your peers. If you can help them understand our situation, then things will be easier."
