"So Macy," he asked. I didn't expect him to talk to me much but it seemed like he was really interested in my life. "What brought you to the UK?"
I didn't expect that question. Honestly, I was hoping if he was going to ask for my number. But who am I kidding? A girl like me could never end up with a guy like him. Celebrities only date other celebrities."I'd always dreamed of studying there ever since I was little. I don't really know what drew me there."
"It's probably the accents of charming men like myself," he winked and I laughed.
"You're right, that's definitely what it is," I challenge.
"Looks like we're flying into darkness," he says and looks out the window.
"What?"
"Well we are flying towards the sunset. We are losing daylight because of the rotation of the sun and-" he looked up and smiled. "Sorry about that, sometimes I talk fast about things I find fascinating. I know it's pretty annoying..." that shattered my heart. At some point in his life someone told him to shut up and now he can't talk about anything he likes without apologizing.
"Tell me about anything you'd like and I'll listen," I said with a smile.
"Really?" He looked really happy, as if it was the best news he'd ever heard. "Well then I'll talk about singing, you see, I auditioned for the X-Factor when I was sixteen..."
He talks to me about his life for hours before we both get sleepy. He says he has a sister named Gemma who's in college now and he can't wait to see her.
"It's nice talking to someone who doesn't know every thing about me," he says lightly, "I see fans every day and it seems like they all know what I had for breakfast when I can't even remember myself!" he laughs at his joke and yawns. "Let's go to sleep, yeah?"
"Yeah," I reply. I feel like I've fallen in love with a guy I just met. I know to him I'm just another girl, and I don't know what could break my heart any more.
