(Part 29) Surprises Go Great With Tears

%100 sorry for not updating. I plan on updating as much as I can now. Whenever I can! My computer , which i use, has been broken. Please, forgive me and have the best of days in the center of a pandemic. Also, angst-ish is what most of the chapter is about so prepare.

You both walked out of the doctors office, Dabi holding your hand and gently leading your two-for-one body towards the car.

Coming to a halt, Dabi spoke.

"That.. umm.. heh.." Dabi withered out as he rubbed the back of his neck.

He came to the car door, picking up his confused walking-speed. You smiled a bit, overthinking the entire situation. You smiled a bit in you head releasing the gift that you now have.

Dabi wasn't as excited, you could tell. The unreadable expression that plastered his facial features told you.

As Dabi was fiddling with the car keys and door, you began to really think about your newfound pregnancy.

"I'm excited." You stuttered out with a small voice. You internally slapped yourself from the sound. He was definitely going to tease you, no matter what was on his alcohol-washed head.

A deep chuckle came from the back of his throat.

'Did I hit a nerve? Did I make him angry? Is he not excited?' Your thoughts told you. They were running miles and marathons at this point. He began towards you, his deep blue with hints of turquoise decorating his mesmerizing orbs. They were glazed with a shine.

wait..

was he.. crying?

You stumbled over your own laced shoes, trying to hug and comfort him. You gently wrapped your almost limp arms around the man you loved. His hands traveled to your deltoids and shoulder blades, rubbing them comfortably. You hummed a small tune to him, as your mouth was placed directly next to his pierced and fragile ear.

" I want this kid. I promise. I'm just scared. I didn't laugh because I don't want it, because I do, I laughed because through your beautiful voice, I could tell you were scared too." He whispered out.

Once the cold air hit your frail doubled-up body..

You began crying too. You didn't even know you were scared until his uptight body and stressed out voice spoke out to you.

Once Dabi heard your small and gentle cries of sorrow, he immediately embraced you with warmth.

Dabi's scarred, soft and strong arms wrapped around you, his large hand pressing the small of your back up against him. His head was ducked into the nape of your shoulder. He would randomly give you small and reassuring kisses every once and awhile.

Your inconsequential tears fell down your soft cheeks, trailing their wet path to Dabi's strongly-scented coat. " Baby?" You whispered out, your cracking voice making an appearance. He spoke through his white teeth, his clenched smiled erupting with small giggles. " Yes, my Princess?" He smiled out.

" I love you."

" I love you."

You smiled a mini smile before breaking up the reassuring connection.

He leaned back too, a genuine smile on his face. He had a few tears running down his face, but you could barely see them. He then placed his freezer-burned hand on your gentle cheek, giving small rubs of his thumb in a circle motion. His lips moved over to your cheek and kissed your tears away. As he kissed your saddened, red and patterned cheek you moved your head so your plump and chapped lips could connect. Your hand was grabbed by his and he guided it too his cheek. He held your wrist as you softly played with the edge of his staple.

He broke away for a small gasp of air. Then, his chivalric voice said something.

" Not to ruin the moment for you, princess." He began as his hand dropped to his side, disconnecting from your wrist. Your hand moved down a bit, too, now playing with the hair at the back of his head.

" But what are we gonna do about me? Like, I cant fuck you for nine months? Damn, I don't think I and my dick can wait that long." He whispered seductively.

You laughed out loud, pushing his armor-like body from you so you could get into the car.

You pulled the car's handle out, only to hear the sharp sounds of keys jangling. You rolled your eyes.

" I can already hear the eye roll and scoff from here. And i'm at least five feet apart from you and your sexy ass self, doll." He spoke out. You turned around and outstretched your arm.

" Keys. Now."

" No."

" If I don't get those goddamn keys I wont even touch you for a month!" You told the disobedient man before you.

" Tell that to my face, not my dick please." He whined out. You walked up to him and snatched them from him.

" Don't tell me what to do." You seethed out from an uptight jaw.

His hands went up in defense and he backed up a bit.

" Woah, mama chill!" He smiled. You rolled your eyes. Then, you felt him rush over to you and open the car door before you could. " I forgot that you do that. " You told him as he helped you in.

You got in and turned on the radio before heading home to see your boyfriend turn it up as he stepped in.

After about 20 minuted of driving, you spoke.

" Hey baby, I didn't know you could cry. Just saying."

" Heh. Me neither. Guess our wedding will be better than I thought."
