After an hour or more, Elara calmed down and finally talked to her Dad about what was going on. The whole thing scared him so much, he hated seeing Elara this way. Something like this had never happened to her before; she was ordinarily headstrong and optimistic about everything. He thought to himself. Embracing her in a hug trying to counsel his child in a very stressful, worrying situation. Elara's brother came in after school to cheer her up, as his Dad had to be at home as it was his week to host the farmer's meeting. Which happened every few months. While Cove was with her, they both had the best of times. Usually, he would bring his guitar along, and then they would both have a writing session helping each other. You see, this family wasn't just farmers; they loved all things pop music. By the time Cove had to go home that evening, Elara had one new song finished; it felt right for the first time in over a week. She felt like she had achieved something with her life for a little while.

Her situation brought up a new question in her head every day; she thought about her bucket list a lot. She wanted to do things in her future, which made her reflective, thinking about what she had done in her life, about her siblings being on the farm as children. Soon enough, she had fallen asleep and begun to think of all the things she could do with her life; even the unrealistic wasn't impossible in her dreams. She also had a dream about Charlie being there with her on some of the bucket list excursions.

Across the ocean in New York, Charlie was having quite the week himself; he was starting Captain of the football team, he had been to Comic-Con and see Captain America with Nate with unique seat in all panel interviews with the Avenger cast. Charlie felt energised and like he was on a roll, the most exciting thing that happened to him that week; was the fact that when he had sat his test for Computer science, Charlie passed with an A+, which never had usually happen to him. Charlie was a bright student; the only problem was Charlie never usually put the time into homework to get that mark. But this time, finally, he chose to make sure he had done some recap sessions with Nate. At school, Charlie also had a rival; he was called Jake Collins. He was super tall, super toned, and hated that girls seemed to fall at Charlie's feet even though he wasn't popular like he was and a little bit of a nerd. Charlie and Jake had been rivals since they met at kindergarten; Jake always had to try and have one up on Charlie. But the thing was, Charlie never cared; he just enjoyed the company of friends. This all got worst when Charlie and Jake went to the same High School; Charlie became quickly popular and liked, while Jake just became the school's bad boy. Somehow he managed to stay on the football team and have status. When on the football ground, he would often go after Charlie and tackle him or just hold the ball from him, and the team lost many games that way.

This wasn't helped when one of Jake's friends talked to Charlie about Science work, and Jake disapproved of it. The act caused Jake rage, and without warning, he charged towards Charlie; by the time they collided, Charlie was on the floor, and Jake was defenseless, as Jake punched him right in the stomach and then the head. Knocking Charlie un-contuse, staff broke it up before it became severe. The week's beginning had ended poorly; he mentioned it to Elara in his letter he wrote that week, and he even answered her question. He decided to write to her the night he collided with Jake while it was still fresh in his mind. The letters exert Stated. 'And your friend El, seem rather nice, to her question I would have to say love is just a complexed word in its self. But yes, I loved someone once. She was the only person I could ever love and probably will love. Her name was El as well, she was here on summer vacation at the pool place I work in the summer, she was beautiful, I wished we had kept in touch but summer romances and all that. I believe there is someone in the world for everyone, but I do not believe in love at first sight; I believe that connection is key.' Charlie wrote into his letter as he continued to tell Elara about his week and what music and weather were like in New York. Charlie didn't add something that had been bugging him for the last few letters, he wished he could, but it felt like it was too much to ask of her in some way.

Charlie wanted to ask her if she would ever consider visiting New York and meeting with him. Charlie was growing some feelings for Elara. For unknown reasons, she felt a sense of security about her, like he could tell her everything, and she would listen and someone he wanted near to share souls with. The connection the two had was somehow unspoken, but they both found it. It was the way they both wrote with such passion and detail; they both wished the other could be there for each other physically and through their letters. Charlie continued to write the address of Elara's Farmhouse in his rather boxed and scruffy handwriting. Charlie still brushed walked to the mailbox and posted the letter off to Elara. Only to come home and his mother notices his face, then begin to interrogate him about the injuries to his face. Charlies mother was horrified by the fact and as always had to bring his brother and Dad into the conversation. "Carter, did you know your brother got into a fight today?" the conversation continued, until his mother was satisfied Charlie was going to be ok.
