Brock finally reached the power plant, it looked eerily black and empty.
'Ash! Ash!' Brock called out, 'can you hear me? Are you in there?'
Brock waited for a few second. No reply. Maybe Ash was already deep inside the building, he thought. But scrutinising the building again, it looked as still as a tomb stone – no sign of activity at all, and Brock knew too well that Ash tended to rock up a commotion everywhere he went. Not willing to blindly rush into an unknown situation Brock stayed outside the building, he looked up and down the building, looking for hints, then he looked around him to make sure he was completely alone. The gangster that attacked them seemed to be trying to stop them from reaching the power plant, this must mean that the power plant was an important thing to them, whatever their goal was. Ash had to be in here. Brock thought. Steeling himself, he took out a torch, got Mudkip and Forretress out of their pokeballs.
'Mudkip, use your radar to find where Ash is. Forretress keep an eye out for anything suspicious!' Brock said. Then he stepped inside the power plant. Please be safe, Ash.
