"Atlas, Where have you been?" his worried mother asked him.
"I just wandered around the village mommy." he answered.
He sat smiling on the sofa not minding his mother's rants, still pre-occupied of what happened earlier.
"Mom, can you print my pictures? I want to compile it." Atlas asked. Her ranting mother stopped and looked closely to him.
"Why so sudden? That camera isn't even yours." her mother said.
Atlas stared at her mother blankly. "It is dad's so technically it is also mine." he uttered with full of sarcasm.
He stood up and left his mother there. Atlas went upstairs, in his father's workplace. There he went to his father who's busy working.
Amazed, even though he has seen his father's workplace before, he still can't help but to be mesmerized by it.
It's a bit messy as of that moment but it is indeed a beautiful mess. Different boxes with different art materials. On his father's table are his cameras.
Atlas knocked on the door so his father would feel his presence. "Dad." he said.
His father's attention went to his son who's holding his camera. He went to him and hugged him.
"What's the matter big boy? Did you take care of my camera?" his father asked while carrying him.
Atlas nodded. He then smiled and asked. "Can you print the pictures here dad?"
His fathers' eyebrows met when he heard about his request. "You took pictures? Of what?" his father asked.
"Ahm, I strolled around the village. I had fun taking pictures with your camera. So can you?"
Wearing a wide smile, his father agreed. "What's with that smile Dad?" he asked, clueless of why his father showed that expression.
"I'm just so happy that you are getting interested with my work so as a gift, I'll print them and I'll give you that camera."
Atlas hugged his father. "Thank you Dad!" he said embracing his father for the second time.
His father told him that his wish will be granted after he's finished with what he is doing. Atlas even questioned his father when will be the time to teach him the proper way to take pictures. He knows about the basics but oblivious about the other things.
They went downstairs to eat lunch. His father assembled the tripod. They sat on the dining table waiting for his mother. After the food was prepared, they got ready to take their first family picture in their new dwelling place.
A picture of a family in their dining table was taken that afternoon. A happy family with a messy background is a picture perfect moment Atlas had.
