Elle's POV
Objective: To take down Marisol
My plan was elaborate; the only flaw was that Alex was going to be all alone. Everyone was going to come with Romeo and I in Valencia. And some part of me was feeling bad about that, but this was all his fault. The reason I fled the first time because he didn't stand up to his mother.
The reason Harriet was even in the picture because Marisol introduced the two in the first place. The reason I had scars, had to travel the world, kill people, and had Jude. I've been waiting for this my whole life.
Finally Marisol was going to end,
Back to reality...
I blinked my eyes several times, my mouth fell open to utter and complete shock. This-this wasn't part of the plan. What was Alex doing? He pulls me close and whispers in my ear.
"I overheard Romeo and you talking about leaving without me. I heard your plot to kill my mom. I can't let you do that, she's my mom Elle." He pulls back with pleading sad eyes as I just gawk at him. Even when Harriet's hand holds my shoulder I feel a numb sensation course through my body.
Alex begins to walk down the aisle when I snap back to reality, "Alex wait!" My voice was hoarse as I command my legs to move, stumbling forward I make it to Alex. Stepping in front of him, "Please don't do this...You don't know everything." I was no longer thinking of the plan to be free of Alex and Marisol but if his safety. This was the dangerous part I planned to every second.
But this...
I had no idea what was going to happen now, "No Elle I realize that we aren't compatible, you've been lying and that tell me we aren't each other's soulmates." I had to admit he was speaking the truth. It was when he side steps me again that I was panicking. I watched Alex walk through the doors of his mansion and disappear, Harriet and I look at each other.
"The party is over people," Oliver announced over the speaker and slowly everyone started to file out. I actually snuck away to the small cottage on the property that was used for garden storage and tools.
Locking myself away I struggle with myself not to fully break down. I needed to play this right if I was still going to be saving everyone I loved. Looking out of the window I spotted Oliver, Aiden, Harriet, and Romeo all with the kids talking, maybe they were talking about what happens now.
Taking my phone out I send a heartfelt text to Alex, telling him that I was sorry and that he should know everything. And our plans about leaving, he offered to only see me alone. I told him that was good, and that we should meet outside of a deserted pizza joint.
Clutching the slipping armor wrap around my mid-section I tighten it, fixed myself up before heading out the back door, and pushing through the trimmed hedges.

Alley ways were common for me, really they were because Romeo and I constantly fought people in them, and that's where we first met. In a dark alley way. I hitched my dress up to my thighs so it wouldn't get dirty.
"I'm here," Alex said in a grim tone as he walked over to me, the smell of Pizza and beer filled the air. His tie was gone and his white shirt had a few buttons undone. His hair was messy, no longer neat. He looked very depressed.
"What do you want to know?" I kept my demeanor cool and collected as I stay fixed on his eyes. I felt his eyes on my stomach, "Was any of it real when you returned with Jude?" I shake my head,
"No I was always trying to take down your mother," He swallows taking down that hard pill of truth. He went on talking to himself stating that he was never all that shocked. But that I was convincing at times. My eyes traveled to find a man with a camera, soon I knew we wouldn't be alone.
