Elle's POV

"She got a body like an hour glass but I can give it to you all the time! She gotta booty like a Cadillac but I can send you into overdrive, oh." I sang bopping my head to the rhythm of Bang Bang by, Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj. I was taken out of my little jam session when Alex sat a plate in front of me. I take out the earphones,

"Alex about kissing Romeo, I want you to know we aren't together. It's just I faced a lot of danger with him and know for sure he can always protect me. Pull me through whatever shit I'm in," He nods, but those eyes showed a different story. "I know and understand that Elle I really do. How is the baby?"

"He's fine; do you want to feel him?" I asked moving the pillow and allowing him to rub my stomach. I distracted myself with these delicious mashed potatoes. Damn they were good; he kept his hand at the top of my stomach. I placed the fork down,

"Here," I lead his hand down to the bottom of my stomach, and then to the right and left. And then I rested his hand on my left side at the bottom. "There, do you feel Jude?" I saw that Alex was distracted, "What's that on your arm?" He pulls off my jacket to trace his fingers over it. "Is that a bullet wound?"

"Don't worry about it Alex really, it's nothing." I pull my jacket back over my shoulder before pushing his hand away. "Is that the only one?" I nod not wanting this conversation to go any further. I hope this would stop his curiosity. Honestly, I wasn't all that surprised that Marisol never told anyone about our scuffle a day before the wedding.

I guess it was best that Alex didn't see that side of his mother, even though he must see her true colors now since he's here whisking me away in his car in Seattle where his family resides. And Romeo was on his private jet, and back to Alex he only told me that we were going to a mansion where his parents don't even know exist, and they weren't allowed.

Not gonna lie that brought some comfort.

Already wish Romeo was here,

"Anyway my mother is going to try and do everything in her power to rip Jude away from us and when we get to the mansion. Despite what you think about Sandra she means well-"

"You didn't hear the news where she's suing me for assaulting her? What the media doesn't know is her poisoning me in her shop, exposing me, and putting me a pregnant woman in danger. Did you forget that piece of information?"

"She's adopted." I could've slapped him for saying that to me. Did he think I was high on hormones and not understand that slick remark towards me. I swear if I was 30 pounds lighter I'd whoop his ass! "You don't get to use that Avenger's line on me! You aren't Thor!" I seethed at him before he chuckles a bit, impressed I got it. I mean duh,

"Alright so I guess she's the enemy as well, huh." I nod at his stupid question as he runs a hand through his hair. "Let me make a few calls, call up my best lawyers. My mom isn't getting our child, and you aren't going to jail for protecting yourself."

I smiled supportively at him. "Thank you Alex for doing this,"

"Of course I would do anything for our son," He leans back over in his seat and stare at his phone soon after looking out the window. And that statement hurt my heart; I thought he was talking to me. I guess that kiss with Romeo set his emotions back some. Even though my feelings for Romeo were friendly I was still in love with Alex. And knew it would take time,

But,

I wasn't a woman who would wait forever.

In the meantime though, "Jude let's see if you like chips and salsa." I say when I see Sandra removing chips and Salsa from a glove compartment from the car. Damn this car had everything!
