Elle's POV

"Birds flying high, you know how I feel.

Sun in the sky, you know how I feel.

Breeze driftin' on by, you know how I feel.

It's a new dawn it's a new day, it's a new life. For Me,

And I'm feeling good,

I'm feeling good."

I never thought of myself a singing kind of woman, but with so many drinks and having Aiden push me towards the mic at the pizza joint we were at and everyone was cheering my name how could I resist.

I was drunk, happy, and full on grease and dough so what was the problem? Absolutely nothing! So I kept singing my little heart out,

Stars when you shine, you know how I feel.

Scent of the pine, you know how I feel.

Oh freedom is mine, and I know how I feel.

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life.

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life, it's a new life....

For me!

*Pause*

And I'm feeling good!"

The crowd wasn't all standing and throwing my flowers but the ones that did made my day that much brighter-okay night. Leaving the stage I felt brand new, I sat back down next to Alex who was cradling Clayton while Jude sat in Aiden's lap.

"Alright let's get out of here and take a walk," Alex suggested and we all agreed to that, swiftly leaving the building I waved at my adoring fans but was yanked along by Alex.

We all piled into the car and slowly I was starting to sober up, I wasn't overly drunk but I was more than tipsy. I was strictly in the middle, ha 'In the middle'. It's a good show,

"Is everyone buckled in?" Alex asked making sure looking at us all, I strapped in and put my feet on the dash board before Alex pushed them off. "Don't hurt the chrome darling," He said politely as I smirked at him. "Whatever,"

Suddenly a crowd of cameramen surround the car. On instinct I look back to see Aiden covering Clay and Jude both. Alex and I are blinded by the flashing cameras, "Is it true that you are not the father of Harriet Reynold's son?!" They shouted over and over in different ways, all pounding on the glass.

I fought every fiber in my body telling me to let loose some bullets, how did-damn Harriet must've not been careful enough. Damn,

"Elle!" Alex called out the second I opened the door and got out, pushing the people back away from the car. Once I had everyone's attention on me I saw Alex take off with the car. In that second I take out a smoke bomb and throw it on the ground, exploding in a thick white smoke.

Getting through the crowds was easy, so was getting away from the restaurant, past the gate leading to a graveyard I hide behind a tombstone. Alex should've been the one to get out and save us, but...all I was worrying with now was if Alex was gonna return.

Taking out my phone I see the latest breaking news, it already consisted of Marisol being as pristine as ever. Heffa makes me sick,

"I'm here with Mrs. Marisol Hall, Mrs. Hall what are your thoughts on the current accusations that your son Alexander Hall may not be the father of Harriet Reynold's child Clayton?" She freezes at the round table of interviewers ready for her response, and she's actually speechless. I start to giggle, but it was too soon. She shakes her head, "It's terrible to even consider the possibility, but we are here ready to support Harriet in her choice to do whatever she wants. No matter what Clayton will always be a part of this family. A true Hall,"
