Chapter 19

  All I could do was stare at him in silence. I know I shouldn't think this, but he looks so tempting right now. As I unconsciously stared up and down his body, I didn't notice a slight knowing smirk on his face. "Enjoying the view", he asked. I quickly looked away while clearing my throat. "I have no idea what you could possibly mean by that", I said flustered. "Huh", he said with amusement in his voice. "So, if you didn't come in here to check me out, perhaps you wanted to join me", he said clearly amused at my expression. My eyes widened while I gaped at him.

  "Of c-course n-not! Why would I want to do that? I only came in here for answers! You told me that you would give me answers", I exclaimed while being completely flustered. He just sighed in response and closed his eyes. "I'm so tired". "Why are you fully dressed inside the tub anyway", I asked. Was he that lazy to take off his clothes? "So you did come in here in hopes to seeing me naked, huh,", he said while smirking. "No", I yelled. Regretting my decision on raising my voice at Shu, I looked away.

  "I wouldn't do that", I mumbled. The room was then filled with silence. I then took this time to realize that this was the perfect time to get some of my questions answered. Even though I had a million questions, there was just one that somehow stood out compared to most of them. "You and your brothers don't really get along well", I began. "Has that always been going on in the family, or did something come between you all". Shu sighed but answered back nonetheless.

  "It's because we all have different mothers". I walked towards the tub and stood beside him. "Different mothers? So that means you guys share the same father", I said. "That's correct. There are 3 mothers. Reiji and I share the same mother. The triplets which are Ayato, Laito, and Kanato also share one", he said. "And what about Subaru". I asked. "Subaru comes from another mother", he said while sinking his head into the water.

  "Shu", I exclaimed in worry and quickly grabbed his arm to pull him back up. Seeming as though he were in a trance, his hand latched onto my left wrist and tightened his grip on it. "Edgar", he whispered. I furrowed my brows in confusion. Who was Edgar? As each second passed, it seemed as though his grip on my wrist was getting tighter to the point where it started to hurt. I was for sure that it was going to leave quite a few bruises here and there. "Shu please. Your hurting me", I pleaded. He then quickly opened his eyes and looked from his hand up to my face.

  He immediately let go but quickly grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him, which had me straddling him in the tub. Noticing the familiar position that we were in had me at a blushing and stuttering mess. Shu gently cradled my left wrist in his hand and brought it up to his face only to kiss it gently. "Are you okay? Please forgive me for my carelessness, I swear that I would never try to purposely hurt you", he said while bringing his face close to mine.

  "It's okay, I'm fine", I whispered softly. I felt speechless with his face so close to mine. He moved a strand of hair behind my ear and cupped the side of my face. "You truly are beautiful", he said with his voice sounding deeper than usual. I said nothing in response as I was at a loss for words. He slowly leaned in and kissed the corner of my lips gently. I flinched in surprise, but it's not like I disliked it. He then slowly started attacking my face with kisses moving from my cheek, to my jawline, and down my neck.

  I closed my eyes and sighed in content. I then felt him hum against my neck. "May I", he asked huskily. I was confused at first and then realized what he meant. I nodded my head in approval. His fangs came out and latched itself onto my neck. After sucking my blood for a couple of seconds he pulled away with a groan of pleasure. "This is the sweetest blood that I have ever trusted", he said. I just blushed in response.

  We then heard a knock on the door. "Ro? Are you in there", a voice called out. I then recognized the voice as Yui's. Before I could respond back to her, Shu interrupted me. "We will be out in a moment", he said. I heard Yui gasp out in shock while I blushed in embarrassed. Great. Just great. Now she is gonna get the wrong idea.
