Later that night, I eventually headed to my room. I have so many unanswered questions of not only of the brothers, but this place. I can't seem to get the conversation between me and Yui earlier out of my head. She seemed so scared and conflicted at whoever she saw in that forbidden room.
(Flashback)
"Um Ro? I kinda need to tell you something," Yui said. I turned my attention to her. "What is it," I asked. Yui gulped nervously as if what she was about to say would be bad news. "You remember when you and the boys found me in the strange room by the bookshelf," she asked me. "Yeah, why," I asked confused. "Well, before you guys found me, there was this strange woman by the patio from outside. She has long purple hair and was wearing a dress," she described. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. How come Yui saw this strange woman, yet I didn't? "Did she hurt you or anything," I asked worried. She shook her head with a slight smile. "No. But when she turned to face me, my chest started hurting all of a sudden," she replied. I looked at her in confusion once again. "I-I don't know how to explain it, but it's like my heart was pounding out of my chest, like it was trying to break through," she explained.
(End of Flashback)
I can't help but worry about who this strange woman is and what her intentions were. Why is she tormenting Yui? What does she want with her? And why didn't Yui want me to inform the brothers about this woman?
(Flashback)
"Listen Ro. You can't tell anyone about the woman yet," Yui said sternly. I looked up at her a bit angry. "Why not? You should at least tell the people who live here what's going on. I mean they lived here longer than us, so maybe they would know about this woman," I said trying to her to understand how important this situation might be. "I know, but I at least want to be sure before I tell anyone else. So please keep this as a secret from now," she begged.
(End of Flashback)
I sighed. All of a sudden my window busted open. The wind was blowing as the curtains shook violently side to side. I covered my eyes quickly before lowering down my arms to see what's happening. What I saw had my knees shaking. It was the exact woman that Yui described to me! Her back was facing me as she appeared to be looking up at the night sky. I slowly stood up. I cautiously walked towards the balcony. "Ex-Excuse me," I exclaimed. There was no response. "What is it that you want? What do you want with my sister," I asked. I was so desperate for answers that I practically screamed at the woman. She then slowly turned around towards me. Her long purple hair covered her eyes, but I knew that she was staring at me. There appeared to be what looked like a smirk on her lips. She then parted her lips as if she was about to speak, but I couldn't hear a thing. My chest then started to hurt. I gasped in pain at the feeling of my heart beating violently as if it was about to burst. I couldn't breathe and I felt dizzy.
The woman continued to smirk at me and began to slowly make her way towards my figure. I began to slowly back up but felt my knees buckle, sending me to collapse on the ground. I rolled over so that I was laying on my back as I continued to gasp for air. She then was right above me and knelt down, so that she was sitting on her knees. She cupped the right side of my face and began to caress my cheek. I then heard her speak to me. This time I can hear very clearly on what she has to say. "My, my, my. What do we have here," she said. Her voice was soft with a hint of mischief in it. "Between you and that other human, there is something special and different about you," she said. What does she mean by that? "I can tell you are different by the sound of your beating heart," she said while trailing her finger down to my chest. I gasped in more pain as my heart beated harder than before. She smiled as if she was enjoying the sight of my pain. She then hovered her hand above my face. It felt as though my soul was leaving my body. My body shook, my eyes widened, and the sight of my breath appeared like smoke as if it was cold in the room. She then adruptedly stopped and disappeared. My room door opened to reveal Laito. His eyes widened at the sight of my body laying flat on the floor, as I struggled to breathe. He then rushed towards me and sat me up on his lap, while pulling me towards his chest. "Hey! Babe! Hey! Breathe," he exclaimed. After a minute or so I regained control of my breathing. "Are you okay? What happened," he asked. I then looked towards the window from where I first saw the woman, only to find it closed shut as if nothing happened. "I don't know," I replied. "I don't know".
