Chapter 5

I suddenly wake up to find myself yet in another room. Yui was no where to be seen as I was in the room by myself. I slowly sat up and reached up to touch my neck,feeling for fang marks,only to find none. I let out a sigh of relief. "Well,well,well. Look who's up", said Laito who was sitting on the edge of the bed. How long was he in here you ask? I have no idea. Deciding not to question it,I sit up a little more and backed up to the very end of the bed,until my back pressed against the cool surface of the wood,knowing that there was no escape. "You know,you look pretty sexy in your nightgown,babe", Laito said seductively while slowly crawling on top of the bed towards me. I squealed and grabbed the covers towards my chest,trying to find some protection and comfort for myself. Suddenly,a hand roughly pushed back Laito's shoulders,pushing him slightly away from me. "Hey! Quit messing around!", a familiar voice said. I turned my head to see Ayato,who was angrily staring at Laito. "Chill Ayato,there's no need to be so rough", smirked Laito. Ayato sat on the space next to me on the bed and put his arm around my waist protectively,while glaring at Laito. "Keep your hand off her,she's mine". I mentally gasped at how possessive and overprotective he sounded. "What's going on here?!", said Reiji,who was suddenly standing by the door. What is it with them and appearing out of nowhere? "Shit,it's Reiji", Ayato muttered. "And you are going to need to get dressed", Reiji say looking directly at me. "Pardon me,but for what?", I asked. Reiji smiled a little at my politeness. "You will be attending night school", Reiji replied. I could feel Ayato and Laito watching my every move. "I don't mean to ask so many questions but,why are we going to school at this time of night? Where is my sister? And can I trust you guys? Because no offense,but you are practically still strangers to both Yui and I", I said nervously. I looked down while playing with my fingers,afraid to see his reaction. Before Reiji could even say anything,the door slammed open. Yui ran towards me and jumped on my other side of the bed,while holding on to arm tightly. I wince a little and try to pull back. Ayato pulls me by the waist protectively while glaring down at Yui. Yui shrank back fearfully. I sighed and took one of Yui's hands and gave it a gentle squeeze,while trying to reassure her that everything was okay. Reiji cleared his throat,gaining both Yui and I's attention,leaving Laito and Ayato still studying my face. "You will also need to get dressed", Reiji said while glaring at Yui. With that,he threw another uniform onto the bed,laying next to mine. "Wait,we're going to school? Right now?", finally spoke Yui,as she sat up straighter on the bed. "Seriously ,how obtuse can you be? Do they not tell you that if you are going to wear a uniform,you are obviously going to school", glared Reiji. Yui gulped but began to speak once more. "But I don't understand why we have to go to school at this time of night". Reiji sighed annoyed but replied anyway. "Although you mortals attend school during the day,we immortals attend at night. So since you will be living with us for a while,you will remain loyal to the Sakamaki residence and follow by our rules". Yui and I have gone quiet while adjusting to everything what Reiji had just said. What I'm most concerned about living in the mansion are the rules. What kinds of rules is he talking about,or why are there even rules that need to be followed in the first place. I understand that we have to get used to their lifestyle,but there still shouldn't be any rules. But,hey I'm not going to complain. I'm simply just going to listen and follow the rules,so there won't be any problems. Hopefully Yui will be doing the same,but I know that it's not going to be true with that mouth of hers. Sometimes she just needs to learn to be quiet. "B-but", Yui tried to interject. Reiji began to walk out of the room. "If you don't like what you are hearing,you are welcome to leave if you'd like", Reiji said with his back turned to us. "But you said if we try to escape,we'll be dead", said Yui. "Did you say something", said Reiji as he turned around to glare at Yui. "N-no not at all", she stuttered. "Then quit doddling. Hurry up and get dressed and meet us downstairs", said Reiji. And just as I blinked,Reiji,Ayato,and Laito were gone. I began to frown a little once Ayato's arm was removed from my waist. I shook my head trying to get these feelings out of my head. Yui began to speak once more with her eyes focused on her uniform. She probably thinks that the boys are still in the room. "Excuse me...", Yui began. When she looked up,she gasped softly. She finally noticed that they were gone.
