Adoras POV~
"ugh..." I wheezed out as a girl topples on top of me. I knew who it was immediately. Glimmer. As much as I love her as a friend. I still pouted as I sat up in bed, showing my disappointment in her doing this for hopefully the final year.
"Oh, hush. You love me," she said as she blew a raspberry at me. "Plus you should be grateful it wasn't Bow this year!"
She did make a point. As much as I hated her annual ritual of getting me out of bed every year, last year was the worst aa Bow collapsed onto my chest making me winded for the rest of the day last year.
"Did you at least bring me coffee?" I mumbled as she rolled her eyes as if it was an inconvenience. "You've done it every year, please don't start with me Glim."
"I wasn't saying anything." "Ookay, then what was that eye roll?" I said as I took a sip of the lovely coffee she brought me.
"It's just...do you think we'll be dorm mates?" She looked down as she said this so I wasn't able to read her face as well as I wanted to.
"Again, I love you, but since you started dating Bow, I don't think thats a good idea."
"I heard my name?" Bow said as his head popped in through my bedroom door. We could literally only see his head. Glimmer and I giggled at how ridiculous he looked as his head was horizontal.
"No, hon, but what's up?" Glimmer asked way to lovingly for me to not groan for how cheesy she was being.
"I don't know, but what do you think of the outfit?" The rest of his body slithered through the door as he was wearing a really tacky floral button up shirt with jeans that were cut off at his mid thigh, and on top of that he was wearing a fanny pack.I finally looked over at Glimmer to realize that she was wearing the same shirt, but in reversed colors. I groaned louder and threw my head into my pillow as I said, "Why must you guys be so couple-y together with me around?"
"Because you know it's cute!" she said beaming at Bow, "Doesn't matter though. Now get up and we'll leave."
They left as I got up to go wash up and put on some clothes. I put on a simple single colour t-shirt with a flannel button up over it. Put my hair up into a pony and got ready to put the last of my things in the car to go to Light Hope University.
As us three were all lucky enough to be enrolled there our freshman year, we had to leave a lot of stuff at the house or threw it away. Glimmers mom took care of her and I, even though I wasn't related to them at all, you'd think I was by the way we act around eachother.
Bow ended up staying the night here for the last week by sleeping on the couch as not to draw attention to their relationship from Glimmer's mom, Angela. He was already packed up out of his dads' place since he said he wanted to help out Glimmer and I pack in time for school to start. His two dads were very touched by his want to help his friends, they called everyday to remind him of how proud they were of him because of it.
"Look who finally got out of bed!" said Glimmer who had a bagel in hand.
"Oh, and I'm supposed to thank you for the bruise that woke me up?" I said sarcastically back at her.
Angela chuckled as she heard this. "You two will never stop your little games as much as I try for you to stop."
No ma'am! Are you kidding, that's why I loved living with you guys. Glimmer would always find a way to make her mom laugh, sometimes at my expense. It was always fun though, and I personally tried to get Angela to smile more after her husband went missing.
"Here," Bow said with his mouth full as he held up a bagel and slid a glass of water my way. We didn't have much time for a fancy breakfast and Glimmer loves bagels, so we had like 3 bags, which were all coming to the dorms. They'd be gone in a week. And we all knew it.
"Okay kids, its about 9:30. You should start getting ready to go." We all got up to hug Angela and thank her for the breakfast before asking which part of the office she worked in, for the 200th time this week.
"Oh, I'm still nervous about who I'm getting as my dorm mate..." Glimmer whispered to us in the car. Bow reached over and kissed her cheek and said, "Don't worry about it. I hear that the dorms are co-ed."
Sup, imma little nervous to write something like this. I hope you enjoy, if you read it at all. Any recommendations would be appreciated!! Peace!❤
