"man, none of this is sitting right with me." larray said, slowly beginning to climb down the canyon. 

"what do you mean?" noah asked. 

the group had begun the most dangerous part of their adventure.
climbing to the bottom of the canyon. 

"i don't know. it just feels weird being here. like yeah its been an adventure but it just feels wrong." larray said. 

"like a-" dixie started.

"-sabotage." larray said. 

"please, who could have sabotaged our vacation? who could have taken the time out of their day to make out plane crash and boat crash?" chase asked. 

"anybody could. i mean, just think about it. cynthia's pretty upset about how things happened. and griffin- he clearly doesn't like noah. they could have just partnered and tried to get us dead." larray said. 

"they wouldn't try to kill us." chase said. 

"okay, maybe not us. but you they would." larray said. 

"and what makes you say that?" chase asked. 

"well, maybe the way you ended that relationship with cynthia? or the fact that you and griffin were always fighting?" larray said. 

"well, you make a fair point. but griffin went home after we got to the airport, and cynthia wasn't even with us." chase said. 

"chase, you don't know what he was planning. for all we know she could have already been their, he pretended to leave but actually caused the accident somehow." larray said. 

"it's possible." noah said. 

"you're right, it is possible. but the boat?" chase asked. 

"he could've sent that guy our way with bad intentions but he helped us get out alive." larray said.

"that little old man did tell us to keep moving straight, which led us here. so maybe saving us and sending us this way were orders of griffin and cynthia?" noah asked. 

"no way." chase said. 
"unless?.." 

"no, its all just a big coincidence. they aren't bad people." noen said. 

"oh, but they are. she's a whore and he's got anger issues." larray said.
"those two things work together hand and hand. like a sandwich and potato chips at a barbecue and pool party." 

"he's got a point." noen mumbled. 

"yeah but griffin wouldn't try to hurt dixie." chase said. 

"when anger strikes it strikes. it doesn't matter who's there, if you want one person dead you'll kill everyone you'll have too." larray said. 

"whatever. let's just keep going and get home." chase said. 

larray sighed and rolled his eyes. 

was he correct? for the most part. 
he didn't exactly cause the plane crash- but the guy who did was involved with griffin. 
it was sad, griffin was such a good person.

but you know, whatever popularity does happens. 

its just a phase. 

a phase of anger and murder. 

it'd end soon. 

all of it. 

"so, once we get off this mountain, whats the plan?" ellie asked. 

"what do you mean?" dixie asked. 

"well how are we getting back to georgia?" ellie asked. 

"uhm-" dixie said, gathering her thoughts. 

"hitchhiking. we'll hitchhike our way back home that way we can get some kind of money and food on the way home." chase said. 

"guys, where's mouse?-" noah asked, suddenly remembering the small dog noen saved. 

"we didn't leave him in the trench did we?" dixie asked, a bit nervous. 

"nope. noen's got him." chase said. 

noen looked over and smiled, holding the puppy in his left arm. 

"wheres the cage?" noah asked. 

"at the bottom, with the little glass box he gave us for him on the boat." noen said. 

"you just threw it down?" dixie asked. 

"yeah. it's just fine." noen said. 

"well, might as well get some weight off." noah said. 
he quickly grabbed his phone from his pocket and threw his bag down to the bottom as well, with it landing just a few feet away from the cage.
"lucky throw huh?"

"definitely." dixie said. 

they both chuckled as everyone continued down the canyon. 

time passed, and they were still moving down. 

"can you believe this?" noen asked. 

"what?" chase asked.

"this whole adventure. i mean yeah, we could've died but- look at everything we got to see. we got to see the amazon rainforest, and saw a huge tiger. we ran away from a literal serial killer while there. we swam almost a week through the ocean and got to see so many new creatures. we got captured by a huge one eyes octopus and saw the bottom of the mariana trench, which no one had ever survived at the bottom. not to mention you survived a shark attack. now we're crossing the grand canyon, no harness or anything." noen said. 
"this has been a dream and a nightmare." 

"yeah. it has been a bit better then what the original vacation could have been like." chase said.

"exactly, look at all the stuff we did. we survived a plane crash, and a boat crash." noen said. 

"yeah but lets look at you for a second. noen eubanks, crossing the bottom of the grand canyon with no harness or safety device. just a lynch, and a puppy in his hands." chase said. 
"you're a strong person." 

noen giggled and smiled.
"says you, you literally saved all of us from a serial killer and a man eating tiger. not to mention you took that shark bite for the rest of us. you're the brains, and the brawn. if you weren't here we probably wouldn't have had the courage to make it." 

"i love you." chase said. 

"i love you t-" noen started.
suddenly, the rock under noen's lynch started to break. 

noen's feet started to slip as the lynch shook. 

"chase-" noen started. 

"don't panic, i've got this okay?" chase said. 

noen nodded and shut his eyes tightly as the rock broke more. 

the others watched in fear, holding place so the rock of the mountain wouldn't break anymore. 

chase slowly started to move under noen, standing on the sturdy rock under him. grabbed mouse and handed him to dixie. 
"breath, i've got you okay?" 

noen nodded in fear. 
he felt the rock breaking more.

as chase reached for the boys waist, the rock fully cracked from the textured wall- causing noen to  fall. 

"chase. i love you."

noah flinched and gasped. 

"NOEN-" chase shouted. 
he quickly grabbed the lynch from mid air and and shot it across in the the wall before jumping down and grabbing noen.

he swung across the wall before landing on a much more sturdy area, and pulling the lynch end back to the base. 

"i love you too."
