"mhm." dixie smiled, sitting on his bed with her legs crossed.

"you decided, your highly religious family was going to see you best friend- aka the CEO of bad ideas?" chase asked.

"yeah." dixie said.

"dixie, baby. i call myself daddy and fight with your boyfriend daily" chase said.

"sure, yeah." dixie said.

"why would you do this to me?!" chase asked.

"because! you are my best friend, eventually my family had to meet you." she said.

"okay but not now! maybe in collage. when i'm not being a fucking immature hazard to society." he said.

"i think it'll be fine. besides, you hang out with nothing but girls, it shouldn't be too terrible. you have respect. most of the time." dixie said.

"oh please, i hang out with guys!" chase argued.

"you fought with every guy you've ever met.. well, every guy except eubanks." dixie said.

"his name is noen. and no, i didn't fight with him because he understood me." chase said.

"so why did you stop hanging out with him?" she asked.

"because i found you guys." chase said, avoiding the question.
"leave me alone, i have homework to do."

he started to turn back around in his chair.

"oh no you don't!"
dixie got up and turned him back around.

"i know you left him to be friends with me. i find that kinda shady." she said.

"okay, yes. but i also walked away because i felt like he had a crush on me. he was always hugging me and just being really sweet and stuff." chase said.

"maybe he was just being a nice friend." dixie suggested.

"i don't know. it made me uncomfortable. he's a boy, i'm a boy. i'm not into guys like that." he said.

"well you could have just told him you were uncomfortable, i'm sure he would have stopped." dixie said.

"no. its over, he's on his own and i'm on my own. now more us, no more him, and no more choen." chase said.

"choen. i remember that." dixie said.
"you should've stayed his friend. his best friend."

chase groaned and rolled his eyes.

"cynthia's coming over to unless you want to watch her give me head you should go." chase said.

"i'll see you at 7." dixie said, turning toward the door and leaving.

later that evening, chase found himself in a much classier attire.

"mother. i do not want to wear this." he said, turning from his mirror to his mother.
