"Hey, this is Xailendra, how may I help you?"

Jesy was slightly confused on how Xailendra answered her phone. "Hey, it's Jesy, is that how you usually answer your phone?" She said laughing.

"Well, I mean no one usually calls me during my work time... No one even calls me, like, in general and I forgot to save your number 'n everything, so, yeah, I'm kinda rambling now, am I? I'm gonna stop. D'ya need anything?" She asked cheerfully.

"When does your shift end?"

"Probably 9:00 a.m., why?"

"Are you good at reading people's body language, or anything connected to that?" She asks curiously.

"Yep. I'm probably the best you'll find. Is this for a job interview or something?" Xailendra joked, making Jesy laugh.

"So it's my first time getting my groceries since I've been here," Jesy says while doing her dishes. "And I'm honestly scared to get seen or recognized." She says, pretending to whisper as if it's a big secret.

The girl laughs but tries to keep it a little quiet. "You want me to accompany you, Jes?"

"Yes, please. I don't really know anyone here except for you, so, that'd really help."

"That's actually a pretty good idea," She says and Jesy hears something drop from the girl's side of the line. "Whoop— yeah, because most groceries here are inside the mall and there's almost no individual grocery shop around our area, like gosh."

"Oh really?"

"Mhm," Xailendra answered as a matter of factly. "What time do you wanna go?"

"What time do you want us to go?" The woman asked.

"I'm probably gonna be there by 10:00, I'm just gonna change my clothes and I'll be there. Ooh, boss is coming. I'll see you later."

"See you." She said and ended the call. Jesy was thankful that there was someone that she knows here—even if they're a fan, and in fact, she's even thankful that it is a fan that didn't announce that they saw the ex-popstar in social media. That'd cause a haywire in the fandom.

This was definitely going to be a better experience than what she had living a few months on Australia.

A few hours later, she hears her door being knocked, knowing that it was Xailendra knocking it.

She opens her door an saw a smiling girl in front of her.

"Hi!" They both say at the same time, dragging out their greetings making it sound like a harmony.

They both give each other a side hug and both also pulled away quickly. Jesy invites the girl in her house and makes her sit down on her couch.

"Anything that can help me with my camouflage?" Jesy asks.

Xailendra immediately looked at the woman's hands. "Why aren't your tattoos covered up?"

Jesy looks down at her hands and shruggs. "I ran out of concealer."

"Ooh... That's gonna be a slight problem," The green-eyed girl says. "Except for your face, you know that your tattoos are like the thing that screams it's Jesy Nelson to Mixers, right?"

"Can we cover my face, then?"

"I mean, sure! Let's pretend it's 2020 and a virus is trying to kill us," She joked and Jesy laughs. "Do you have any masks? Preferably the black ones, it'd totally match your outfit."
