I apologise, this isn't edited yet and I wrote some on my iPod, so sorry for any mistakes!
"NOT GIVING IN!"
I woke up to my radio blasting Rudimental at me. I rolled on my back and rubbed my eyes before opening them, blinking a couple of times to focus them. Hanging from the ceiling was a little blue envelope.
I grinned, remembering what day it is today. I sat up quickly and snatched it form the string before tearing it open.
Morning Princess,
Put on the dress on your window seat and come down stairs.
Your Prince xx
I grinned even wider, my cheeks starting to hurt a bit but I certainly didin't care. I checked the time and saw it was already almost eleven. That cheeky boy had set my alarm three hours later! I didn't want to waste Valentines Day sleeping!
I walked over to my window seat and looked at what I was supposed to wear. It was a strapless dress with the top being plain black and the skirt a vibrant sky blue. I saw that I also had a pair of black heels and an elephant pendent.
I quickly showered and dried my hair, before changing into the outfit. I then let my hair fall into it's natural waves. Just then, my stomach grumbled. Looking over at the clock, I saw it was 11:45. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs.
As I descended the stairs, I saw Cain waiting by the door. He was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, a steel grey button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows, a pair of black combat boots and a black beanie. In his hands were a bouquet of red roses.
I reached him and he smiled down at me, handing over the roses. I lifted them to my nose and smiled. I looked at him. "You twat."
His jaw dropped a little, but amusment was clear in his eyes. "Well morning to you too."
"I don't want to sleep away the whole of Valentines Day!" I laughed, slapping his shoulder lightly.
"Don't worry, love. We have plenty of time to get through all my plans," he reassured me.
Cain took me out to a fancy lunch at my favourite resteraunt in the city where my family used to go to on special occasions. When Dad and my brother were still around. After that, we wandered down the busy street to a little cupcake shop.
"I love cupcakes!" I exclaimed, squeezing his arm excitedly. He laughed.
"I know."
I slipped off my heels and sprinted the rest of the way to shop, pushing through crowds of people. Cain followed, apologising and trying to contain his laughter.
I burst through the doorway with Cain hot on my heels. He grabbed my arm and yanked me back, before I rushed to the counter and ordered sixteen of my favourite flavour. "You're not buying one," he said. My smile dropped.
"What? Then why are we here?"
"I'll show you," he nodded to the slightly frightened man at the counter, and then smiled back at me. I eyes followed the cupcake man as he went into the back room and brought out a huge box. I felt the grin on my face returning as he handed it to Cain. I lunged excitedly for the box but he just lifted it out of my reach.
"Nu-uh," he scolded. Pouting, I followed him out of the little shop, shoes in hand, and down to Hyde Park. We sat down in the sun under a tree, and he finally handed me the big box. I placed it infront of me a carefully lifted the lid.
And it was the most magical thing I had ever seen.
It was a giant gormet cupcake the size of an actual cake. It was red velvet, my absolute favourite. Written in a swirling, elegent script on the white icing was Will you be my girlfriend, Amy? as well as a giant love heart and a little rose. I looked at Cain to see him smiling hopefully.
