"Onika I'm telling you, a bear would totally win in a fight against a kangaroo." Amala scoffed, kicking the door open with her left leg. We went to pick up groceries and on our way back she started with the conversation of who's win between a bear and a kangaroo in a fight, I picked team K, now she's dead on arguing.

"Please, a kangaroo would win." I replied dropping my bag on the table.

"Girl I knew you was dumb, but this.. is out of it. A BEAR WOULD WIN!." She yelled. Face palming, I decided to let her win and scrap this convo.

"Yeah, you're right. A bear would totally win." She grinned big, setting the bag of groceries on the table and taking stuff out of the bag one by one.

"So, how's your love life been goin?." She held the same big smile on her face, talking about Beyoncé. I rolled my eyes before walking over to the kitchen island.

"What love life?."

"Don't even act dumb. You spoken to Beyoncé lately?." I smiled a little on hearing her name. We'd been spending time together alot. It's either I was at her place or we were out.

"Why you care though?." I asked switching on my phone, coincidentally, I got a text from Bey.

Hey.

I smiled a little before looking back at Amala.

"I dunno, i just wanna be completely prepared for your wedding." She shrugged.

"That's if you get invited." She let out a loud and extra long and dramatic gasp, putting her hand over her chest.

"Offended!."

"Shut up whiskers." I rolled my eyes playfully before smiling at her. On cue with the whiskers, her cat, came strutting out with a pur.

"Raymus!. Come to mommy." She blew kisses the cat's way before bending down to pick it up.

Whatchu want?.

"Where are all your bottle waters?." I asked while snooping through her fridge. She had a weird habit of transferring them, it was really annoying on those hot days when her house was the closest to the mall.

"In the other fridge close to Alex's litter box." She was still focused on the cat in her arms while referring to the other one, Alex. Giving her a nod I proceeded to the second fridge and got a bottle of water.

"Has Danica called you, yunno since that day?."

"Uh, no. Why you ask?." I came back out to where she was still with her cat. I just gulped my water.

"She texted me, Ty, Ari, practically everyone yesterday."

"Really, what'd she say?."

"Nothing. Just one word, Tennessee." She shrugged.

"Was it on the group chat or individual texts?." I asked surprised at why I didn't get the text.

"Individual texts. Why she ducking you though. There was no reason you shouldn't have gotten one." She shrugged again. She's right to be honest. Danica is weird on soo many levels.
