Everything was perfect. My family, the house, the move, everything. Until He broke in. That bastard thinking he can ruin my life!! I'm stuck in this place because of him!!

(Few days earlier)

"(Y/n)? Me and your father need to talk to you and Lucas real quick!" My mother yells from downstairs. "Coming!!" I yell back grabbing Lucas out of his crib and walking down stairs.

Once I hit the bottom step when dad looked over at me and smiled. He motioned me over to the couch. For some reason anxiety came over me as I walked over and sat down. I set Lucas on my lap looking over at my parents.

"So (n/n nickname) as you know my boss was thinking of giving me a opportunity, right?" My mum asked me. She looked as if she was gonna throw up. "Yeah, of course. You looked so happy" I said.

Lucas was starting to clap and smile looking at dad. He picked Lucas up and hugged him. "Well I got the job..but.." she trailed off. What did she want to say?? "We have to move across the country-" "WHAT?!" I cut her off yelling.

"(Y/N)- sorry- but no need to yell.. I know it's hard but it's a really nice house. Plus you'll have your own room! And own bathroom." Mum said fiddling with me fingers. We're moving?? Why??

I calm myself down and said "when are we moving?" "In two days-" " TWO DAYS?! AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!" I yelled again. Dad gave Lucas to mum and stood up and putting his hands on my shoulders.

"(Y/n)? I know it's hard but to be honest we just found out two days ago and needed to find a house. I know it'll be hard leaving your friends and school behind. But it's a fresh start in a new house with new people and school." He says in a soothing voice.

I calm myself down again and look in his eyes. He some how always knew how to calm me down. "OK I'm sorry dad, mom, for yelling. When should I start packing mine and lucas' stuff?" I said looking at them.

"After dinner dear. You go call your friends and tell them or go to one of their houses. Just tell them before we move." Mum said getting up with Lucas still in her arms. He had a big dorky smile on his face.

"OK mum. I love you guys." I said walking to the stairs and going up. I walk into my room and look around. What will the house look like? What would my room look like? My own bathroom?? Thoughts kept going through my brain as I look for my phone.

"Where is it??" I mumble to myself when I hear my door open. "Looking for this kiddo?" I turn to see my father with my phone. "Yes I was! Thank you so much." I said as I grabbed my phone. "You also got a text from a guy named 'Jason'?? Care to tell me who it is?" He asked looking at me.

"Jason is just a friend dad. He actually helps me with my math homework." I explained to him. "Ok kiddo. Well have fun." He said as he left and shut the door.

I looked at my phone and read the text.

I chuckled at Jason and put my phone down. I got up and ran downstairs! "WOAH! What's the rush for? Going somewhere?" Mum asked me walking out the kitchen. "Can Jason, Amber and Asher sleep over today?? I promise we'll be quiet!" I begged.

"Who's Jason and Asher?? I only remember Amber." Dad states looking up from the TV. "Don't worry dad Jason has a boyfriend and Asher is dating Jason. I have nothing for either of them!" I told me dad. He groaned turning his attention to the TV.

"You know.. me and your dad have been worried about you. You never had a boyfriend or a girlfriend. You just stay home." My mum says quietly. "I just don't want one. I'm good on staying with you guys for a little bit longer. Plus not so much drama I guess." I said tugging on my hoodie strings.

"Yes they can sleep over. But only in the living room. Lucas needs to sleep good enough so he can make it through the move." Mum said smiling. I thank her and run upstairs. "No running on the stairs you know this!" Mum yelled. "Sorry!!" I yelled back.

I ran to my room and grabbed my phone. I texted The group chat.

I threw my phone down on my bed and ran to my closet. I grabbed a purple oversized hoodie Amber gave me and grabbed basketball shorts. I put them on and ran down stairs. "(Y/n) what did I say about the stairs?" My mother asked me.

"Sorry but Amber is coming in about two minutes, Jason in 'bout 5?? And Asher in an hour." I said rushing past her to get bags of chips and junk food and running upstairs. "DINNER FIRST!!" I heard her scream. "SURE OK" I yell back.

I heard the doorbell ring and ran downstairs. "No running!!" Mum Saud again. "Ok ok sorry" I said and opened the door. Amber stood there with her big dorky smile. She hugged me extremely tight. "Amber- air- breathe-" I choked out. Amber let go. "Sorry sorry I'm just so excited and sad." She said as she walked in.

"Hi Frank! Hi Harper! Hi little Lucas." She said then running upstairs. "Oh so she gets to run but I can't" I asked mum in a mocking tone. "Yes because she's better than you" she said jokingly. I put my hand over my heart and gasped dramatically, falling.

There was knocking on the door and I sprung up to my feet and heard Amber running down. We both were at the door when I opened it. "JASON!! BESTIE!!" I screamed and Amber gasped. "B-bestie?? Waaaaaaaa!" She fake cried. "Look what you did to my child!" Jason yelled and hugged her.

"OH whatever you big dorks. Beat ya upstairs!" I said running upstairs. "(Y/N) I SWEAR!!" Mum yelled again. "SORRY!" I screamed having Amber and Jason tackling me. "Bish get off!!" I yelled pushing them off.

Amber ran to my radio and turned it on blasting music. "AMBER TURN THAT DOWN!!" Me and Jason both yelled. Amber turned it down saying sorry repeatedly.

-hour later-

There was knocking and we all bolted to the door. I let Jason open the door and it was- drum roll please!!- Asher!!

Jason pounced on him hugging him. Asher groaned but laughed hugging him back. "Hey Asher!" Me and Amber yelled helping them up. "Hey guys! What's up." He asked hugging us. "Nothing just hanging out" Amber said pulling him into the house.

We all ran upstairs. I flopped on my bed and Amber sat next to me. Asher sat in my desk chair and Jason on his lap. We were all just talking. About school, about moving and what we should do. God I can't wait until later.
