Chapter 3

-The next day-

Everyone decided that we were having the day to just us. No drama, no parents. Just us. I grabbed the past pair of clothes my mum didn't pack. We're leaving later today so the rest is just for us.

The outfit was a an black long sleeved shirt and a grey t-shirt with a thorned cross on it and black pants. I loved the outfit. I went downstairs and saw my family.

"Hey family! No time for breakfast I have to meet Amber and the others at the park. Love you!" I said as I was fumbling with my shoes. "Love you! Did you take your meds?" I heard mum ask. "Yeah! Bye bye" I said walking put the door.

I had my phone, keys, my pocket knife and sharpie. I walked down the street running into Amber. "Bestie!!" She screamed jumping on me. "Ow! Bitch you're heavy!! Get off!" I yelled at her.

"Hurtful! I'm not heavy!" Amber yelled getting off and acting like she was gonna cry. "Ok ok sorry now help me up" I said. She pulled me up and started walking away. "Bitch! Wait for me!" I yelled running up to her.

"Then stop being such a slow ass" she said. "So what do you think we're gonna do today??" I asked walking beside her. "Probably about how Jason lost his virginity to his very first boyfriend" she said looking at her phone.

"He hasn't stopped talking about it until he passed out on call." She said showing me how long their call was. "Oh my god- really?" I asked looking at her phone. It was 11 hours!

"Just non-stop. Not descriptive but still." She said pulling her phone away. "Wow- I'm lucky I wasn't the one he was talking to." I said. "Granted you're now the only virgin in the group now" she said looking at me.

"Well I don't have a boyfriend and I'm just not ready." I told her trying to walk faster. Once we arrived I saw Asher on the swing and Jason was walking around.

"Hey guys!" Amber yelled in my ear running to tackle Jason. "AMBER RIGHT IN MY EAR!!" I yelled at her. I walked over to Asher and saw that he was texting someone. "Who ya texting?" I asked and he looked over to me.

"My uncle. He wants me over there for the summer and 'pray the gay away'." He said putting air quotes around 'pray the gay away'. "Wow. I'm sorry dude. I'm really sorry. You don't have to go" I said sitting on the ground looking up at him.

"My mother is making me go. I don't wanna but I have to" He said tearing up. "Hey hey.. you know what? When you get home pack your shit and move with me. You know my parents love you! They may not know 'Asher' but they still know you" I said standing up and texting my mum.

Hey mum? Can Asher move with us?? I know it's last minute but they need to leave.

"She said yeah." I said looking at them. "Really?! Omg thank you!!"they said hugging me.

"Woah what's going on here" I heard Jason walk over with Amber. "(Y/n) and their family is letting me move in with them" Asher said looking at him. "...That's amazing!! I'm so proud!" Amber yelled hugging them.

"You're leaving me?.." Jason asked. "Babe- no. It's just I can't stay with my family" they said walking up to him. "You're taking my boyfriend away from me?!" He yelled at me.

"Jason calm down ok? It's just like they said. They can't stay with their family anymore." I said backing away from him. "Jason! Calm down. It's just gonna be for a year! I'll move back once I'm 18 and I'll be here with you" asher said.

"I'm sorry.." He said hugging Asher. "I'm sorry (y/n).. I just don't want to loose two people.." He said looking at me. "It's fine" I said looking at my phone. "Holy shit. Asher we have to go it's almost 5" I said looking at them.

"Ok ok let's go" they said hugging Jason and Amber. "Bye guys.. I'll miss you Jason.. so much. We'll text and call and everything." Asher said hugging and kissing Jason.

"Bye.." Jason said letting go. "Bye guys. I'll miss you guys so much." I said hugging them. "Bye bestie.." Amber said tearing up. "Bye (n/n)" Jason said ruffling my hair. "Bye guys!" Me and Asher said running to their house.

They would have to sneak out. Can't let their mum know. So what we did was this:

Asher would walk in their house acting normal.
I would sneak through the window like we use to do when we were 15.
I would help them pack as they write a note.
There will be enough clothes enough for a week.
Once that's all done I sneak out the window with the bag and go to my house.
Asher would leave 10 minutes later collecting everything we left.
Once done they sneak out and come to my house and we will leave.

Once back home everything is getting put away. My bed, the crib, everything is in the truck. "Hey kids! You ready?" Dad asked putting Lucas in his car seat. "Yeah" I said putting Ashers bag in the trunk of mums car.

"Honey where's Asher?" Mum asked walking out of the house locking it. "Coming in about 5. I already put their stuff in the trunk" I said leaning on the car.

"Oh. There she is" my dad says pointing to them. "Them, Fred, they don't go by she anymore dear" My mum says smiling at them. "Hi Harper. Hello Fred. Yes I go by they/them and Asher. Thank you for allowing me to come along." They said hugging them.

"Let's go already I'm tired and we have three days to travel!" I said getting in the passenger seat. Dad and lucas took dad's car. mum, me and Asher took mums car.

The drive was going to be extremely long so mum decided to keep me and Asher with her and dad take Lucas so she doesn't have to deal with screaming from a baby.

"So want so music? We have a lot of music to choose from. And the radio." Mum said looking at me and Asher. "Can you play 'The Monster' by Eminem?" Asher asked looking at her. "Sure honey" she says as she gives me the phone to turn on the music.

This is going to take forever.
