"Asahiiii!" A short male whined, wrapping his arms around the much larger and intimidating looking male from behind, giving said 'scary' male a small fright.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing at the gym?" Asahi murmured softly, turning around to hug his lover back. "Training finished a while ago." The brunette put a hand on top of his boyfriend's head, giving him a head pat. The smaller hummed and leaned into the warmth provided.
"I was waiting for you outside but I got cold." (Y/N) leaned up, pressing a soft kiss to Asahi's cheek. "And you looked like you were overworking yourself, so I wanted to give you some cuddles!" The smaller grinned, giving Asahi a small squeeze.
"O-Oh," The ace blushed in embarrassment but couldn't help but smile, nuzzling his head against (Y/N)'s. "Thank you. I'm almost finished, just let me get the gym cleaned up and I'll walk you home." (Y/N)'s grin widened at the suggestion and nodded, offering to help clean. Asahi tried to tell his lover he could do it himself but (Y/N) already started to pack up, ignoring his boyfriend's protests.
After they finished packing up and Asahi changed out of his gym clothes to his uniform they began to walk, (Y/N) clinging onto Asahi's arm while chattering on about that day's events and what was happening in his own club.
"And then, Yuni said- 'But you can't put the manga in the statue's eye! We'll get in trouble!' Yuni is such a buzzkill." (Y/N) whined, causing Asahi to laugh softly at the weird but funny story he was being told.
"But Yuni is right, darling, you can't put a manga in the vice principal's lion statue." Asahi tried to interject, making (Y/N) give him a strange look.
"Asahi, my love, what does the 'karasu' in Karasuno stand for?"
"Crow?" Asahi raised an eyebrow at his shorter lover.
"Yes, and what was the statue of?" (Y/N) continued, looking dead serious.
"A lion-?"
(Y/N) nodded his head furiously. "We're crows! Not lions! Why would lions ever be near crows?! It doesn't make sense! So the manga about crows was just a sign that the vice-principal should have a crow statue instead of a lion statue!"
Asahi couldn't help but laugh at this, covering his mouth with his hand to muffle the laughter before he was caught. "Asahiiii! It's not funny! It's trueeee!" The shorter whined, shaking his taller boyfriend's arm. "I don't know why you're laughing about it!" (Y/N) pouted.
Asahi shook his head and calmed his laughter down, lifting his free arm up to pet the smaller's head. "I'm sorry. It was just hard to hold back..." Asahi chuckled softly, leaning down to give his lover a small peck on the lips.
They continued to walk to (Y/N)'s house, stopping once to pet a neighborhood cat that always seemed to loiter around late at night instead of going home to his owner, before finally stopping at the big red door of the (L/N) family home.
"Hey, Asahi, my parents aren't home right now," (Y/N) started to speak, facing away from Asahi to unlock the front door. The brunette's face burned brightly at his smaller lover's words, trying to utter out something. "And your parents are working late tonight too, right? Stay over with me... I don't wanna be alone tonight." (Y/N) finished, muttering off at the end as he grew more anxious to receive the taller male's answer.
Asahi's face slowly calmed down to a small pink hue, now understanding what (Y/N) meant. "Of course, darling. I'll stay with you." The brunette smiled, kissing his lover's head before walking inside.
