Moving to a new country could be the worst possible thing to happen to a 16 year old. This is precisely why I begged my parents to stay in England. That plan, however, failed quite spectacularly. The pay will be much better and it will be an amazing adventure for us all." My stomach had dropped to the floor. Part of me was filled with excitement for a new start- not simply being known as 'the nerd' would make a pleasant change. However, the other part of me filled with dread. I would have to introduce myself to knew people without making myself look like a doofus. I would have to leave behind my friends, my life.

A month later, we moved. Tomorrow, I would start my Junior Year at Beacon Hills High School...
