I hate waking up. Mornings are the worst. I woke up to my dad knocking on my door to "get my ass out of bed or I would be late for school." I peeled my eyes open and blinked against the bright morning light and rolled out of bed. I ran my hand through my messy brown hair and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I opened my closet open and grabbed a random outfit, consisting of a checked shirt, a plain white t-shirt and a pair or worn out, blue jeans. I threw them on and packed my bag with all the required text books and a pencil case full of scrunched up pieces of paper and roughly 2 bits of stationary.

I swung it up onto my shoulder and ran downstairs where my dad was getting ready to leave the house to go to the station. "There's poptarts in the cupboard. Don't be late for school." He said.
I dropped my bags by the front door and turned to him with one if my signature expressions that say everything that a sentence could. I still talked. "Dad, you tell me this every day. I am 16 and I can drive but you're  acting as if I would be late." I raised my eyebrow.
He sighed and stepped out the door. He was probably fed up with me already and it was only quarter to eight.

I made two poptarts and ate them whilst staring at my phone. A message popped up from Scott. It said:
Hey man, Derek just found a dead body. It's nothing like we've ever seen before. It was followed by a picture:

here abouts are u. I'm coming over.
He replied back immediately:
I'm not with him at the moment but he's got the twins with him. I'll see ya at school.
I answered:
Kk. I'm about to set off to school so I'll see u soon :)

I ran upstairs and brushed my teeth then came back down and grabbed the keys to my jeep. I flung my bag over my shoulder and opened the door, stepping put and locking it behind me. I got in my jeep and turned the radio on. It was playing the song Centuries by Fall Out Boy which I knew all the words to. (A/N I have a headcanon that Stiles listens to emo bands) It only took 5 minutes to get to school in the car so I was humming along to the song all the way there. Once it finished, the news came on so I turned it off and drove in silence.

When I got to school, I parked my car and hopped out, slamming the door behind me and picked my backpack up. I wandered to the front doors of the school when someone caught my eye. There was a girl sitting on one of the benches. She was (Y/H) and was wearing a pair of short dungarees with a cherry print top underneath. She had (Y/H/L) (Y/H/C) hair which was pulled in to two low space buns. She had a book open on her lap and was reading it whilst balancing her phone between her ear and her shoulder, talking to someone. She had a British accent and had a pair of red converse high tops on. She also had a checked shirt tied around her waist. I reckoned she was new because she looked too old to be a freshman and I hadn't ever seen her around.

Scott came up behind me and scared me. He out his arm around my shoulder and stared at the girl. "She's pretty, isn't she?"
I nodded. "Very."
The bell rang which seemed to startle the girl. She said goodbye to the person she was talking to and put her phone in her backpack and gripped her book to her chest. She took out a bit of paper tucked into her book and unfolded it. It was a map of the school.
"I've got a girlfriend, go help her." Scott patted my shoulder and walked away. I made some incoherent sputtering noises in his direction.

I walked over to where the girl was studying the map. "Hey." I said to her, smiling.
She looked up and met my eyes. "Hey." She replied.
"Need any help?" I asked.
"Um, yes please." She said in her beautiful accent. Where is room SC9210?"
"Ah, that's my homeroom. I'll show you where it is."
We turned around and headed into the school.
