If time could go back to two hours ago, Lan Ning would rather die than follow a group of high school students to the mountain.

Lan Ning used both of her hands to support her knees, she then heavily gasped for a few breaths. On all four sides, there were still pieces of white-capped snow. Heat excluded from her breaths floated upward and turned into white smokes non-stop. Then, they quickly dissipated in the cold wind.

Damn it! Ahhh!!!

Lan Ning could not help but swear in her heart. What was the reason a bunch of little devils, whose energy and enthusiasm, to pull her along to the mountains, would not have a single silhouette be seen when she turned around?!

Lan Ning was a little discouraged, raising her head to look at the sky above. The sky was not as bright and beautiful as it had been when she just climbed up the mountain. Seemingly one could also see the faint, distant, dark clouds.

Lan Ning's heart trembled. Perhaps when laboriously arrived at Hokkaido for vacation, one could also lose their small life here?

Lan Ning carefully thought for a moment. She could not remember when she lost the group of high school students and became separated from them.

Lan Ning has always followed behind the group and listened to them talking about daily stuff in Japanese the entire journey. When her mind recovered, there was only her alone in this vast world. Even the footprints of those people were not willing to remain for her.

Was it due to Lan Ning being so enthralled that she went a separate path? She introspects herself. Secretly, Lan Ning was glad that this was a small mountain. The probability of her finding her way back to the hotel was very large.

She hoped so...

Lan Ning did not give up the idea and took out her phone to look – still no signal. She leaned against the side of the trunk and pulled out a thermos from the side pocket of a backpack. She took a sip of warm water.

Lan Ning's physical strength had been consumed a lot, thus, she did not dare to stay for long on the mountain. As Lan Ning felt her body getting warmer, she stuffed the thermos back and then heard an approaching sound of soft footsteps nearby.

Lan Ning's brows moved. She immediately looked in the direction the sound was coming from.

A man wearing a climbing outfit just came out from the small nearby bushes. His movement was not small and caused the snow on the leaves to fall.

The man was tall. His height was probably around 185 cm or more. On his jet-black hair, there seemed to be some scraps of snow remaining. One did not know when the snow fell off. It seemed like he saw Lan Ning as he stopped in front of the trees.

At that moment, when Lan Ning's eyes faced his eyes, her heart shook.

No good, this man here is pretty handsome.

It was merely a starry-eyed infatuation she had for only a second. After that, like seizing a straw of rescue, she quickly walked over to the man and asked in Japanese, "Hello, are you climbing the mountain as well?"

The man did not immediately answer. He glanced at her, nodded, and said, "Hm, I'm planning to leave the mountain."

His bass voice was easy to hear, and his Japanese pronunciation was also very elegant. It has caused Lan Ning, who has a Japanese degree N1 with high marks, to not want to speak Japanese out of embarrassment after the man spoke.

But the most important matter is that he said he was leaving the mountain!!!

Lan Ning was touched to the point of crying tears of joy. She looked at the man in front of her with the happiest expression, "Oh, what a coincidence, I'm also getting ready to leave the mountain. Perhaps we can go together?"
