Chapter 1- Sunday Roast

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or 5 Nights at Freddie's the game. I'm just a big fan of Harry Potter and I like the game 5 Nights at Freddie's!

Notes about this book
1) This is my first story so I'm not sure if it's any good but please tell me what you think of it!
2) In my book, the restaurant is set in England, not America (like it is in the actual game).
3) Thanks to my friend loric_who_lock for telling me about watt pad!
4) All the photos I've included in this story are my own ( I've taken them)!

The clock struck noon. Hermione Granger glanced up from her plate, chewing her food slowly. She was sitting around her dining table opposite her muggle parents. The Grangers were eating a Sunday roast, as it was the 2nd day of the summer holiday. Even though it was only 2 days since she had last seen them, Hermione already missed her best friends Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Though she was very happy to see her parents again after a long, hard year at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which had( in the year just passed) consisted of her O.W.L exams..... and an unexpected battle against Lord Voldermort and his Death Eaters. Luckily the Order of the Phoenix had managed to save the day. Well... Almost. Her heart gave a sudden throb as she remembered their loss. Sirius Black.....
"Hermione, darling " her mother called, which immediately brought her back to earth.
"Yes Mum?" She replied hastily.
"Your father and I were just wondering when your friends were coming?" Her mother said kindly.
Hermione smiled. She had invited Harry and Ron over to spend 2 weeks at her house. She couldn't recall Harry and Ron ever properly meeting her parents so she had wanted to introduce her two best friends at last to her parents.
"Harry is coming on Tuesday but Ron can't come until Wednesday because he's got a family event on" she said to her mother.
"Oh good" her mother said smiling.
"Is Harry the one with red hair or the one with glasses?" Her dad asked.
Hermione sighed; she had explained this so many times before.
"Harry is the one with black hair and glasses Dad" she answered.
"Oh.... Ok good" he replied.
There was another silence as the three Grangers continued eating. Then her mother broke it again.
"Hermione, your Father and I have something we wanted to ask you" she said slowly.
Hermione looked up.
"Yes Mum?" She asked.
Her Father cleared his throat and began speaking.
"We were wondering, since you are going to be 16 Years old soon, we thought you might want some money of your own that you would be able to spend on yourself and your friends" he said loudly.
" But Dad, I can't use muggle money....." Hermione began but her Mother cut her off.
"We mean you might want some money you could spend while you aren't at school.... Some holiday money" she said clearly.
Hermione thought about this for a second.
" Mum, Dad you don't need to give me any money" she said clearly.
"No, what we mean is that maybe you want to get a summer job" her Father said.
This took Hermione by complete surprise.
"Oh... I guess that would be cool" she said slowly, thinking it through.
"If you got a job, you could go somewhere nice with your friends using the money you earn!" Her Dad said enthusiastically.
"Yeah, that sounds like a great idea! Thanks!" Hermione said beaming at her parents.
"I'll have a look tomorrow for any summer jobs that are available" she said happily.
As the Grangers washed up their plates, Hermione thought happily to herself about all the awesome places she, Harry and Ron could go to in the summer using the money she earned.
"This will be such a fun summer!" She said to herself as she squirted washing up liquid onto some cutlery.
How very wrong she was.....
